Officers on routine patrol observed the suspect staggering on her feet while on the platform. The officers made contact with the suspect and determined that she was too intoxicated to care for herself. The officers placed the suspect under arrest for public intoxication. As the officers were escorting the suspect out of the station, she began to violently resist by kicking at the officers. The suspect was eventually placed into the WRAP as she attempted to kick out the rear window of a patrol car. The suspect will be booked into the SF Jail for public intoxication. There were no injuries to the officers or the suspect. A sergeant responded to conduct the use of force investigation.

A sergeant was boarding a train at the station when passengers called out to him to report a fight on the train. The sergeant located the involved parties, who had stopped fighting. A witness and the victim reported that the suspect pushed and threatened the victim. When the victim pushed the suspect away, the suspect brandished a knife at the victim and threatened to cut him. The sergeant recovered a knife from the suspect. The suspect was interviewed before being placed under citizen's arrest for battery and brandishing a knife. He was issued a prohibition order and booked into the San Francisco County Jail for battery and brandishing a knife.

A male victim reported that while asleep aboard a Millbrae train arriving at the station, a Black male in his late teens – early twenties grabbed the victim’s iPhone from his hands and fled from the train. The victim awoke and chased after the suspect but then lost sight of him. The victim further described the suspect as: 5’8” tall; 170 lbs.; wearing a green shirt, blue jeans and carrying a brown back pack. Officers were unable to track the victim’s cell phone. Video was requested.

A victim was off boarding a train when a female suspect bumped into her. A witness told the victim that the suspect had taken her wallet from her bag. The victim followed the suspect and officers were flagged down and contacted the suspect. The suspect had dropped the wallet (recovered at the scene), but she was found to be in possession of the victim's $60. The suspect was identified by witnesses and placed under citizen's arrest for theft from a person. She was booked into the San Francisco County Jail for the theft.

hrs BART Officers saw three juveniles fare evade out of the paid area. One of the juveniles refused to adhere to orders to stop so a detention could be initiated. Minor force was used to detain the juvenile. A BART Sgt conducted the use of force investigation. The juvenile was cited for fare evasion and released to his father.

A CSO reported that there was a male subject on the platform who had his pants down and appeared to be asleep on the platform. Officers made contact with the subject and a wants check showed that the suspect was on probation and that terms of his probation was to stay away from all BART Stations. The officers also learned that the suspect was out of compliance with his sex registration requirements. The suspect was arrested and booked into the SF County Jail for being out of compliance with his sex registration requirements. Charges are to be sought for the violation of probation. There was no merit to the indecent exposure report.

A victim reported that while aboard a Dublin/Pleasanton train between the Powell and Montgomery Street stations, he was confronted by three Black male suspects. One of the suspects snatched the victim’s gold colored iPhone 6 from his grasp. When the victim attempted to retrieve his phone, however, one of the suspects kicked him in the chest. The suspects then fled into another train car. Officers were unable to locate the suspects, and attempts to track the phone were also unsuccessful. The victim, who was not injured and who declined medical attention, minimally described one of the suspects as wearing a black hat and another as wearing a black hoodie.

Officers responded to a report that a male subject walked up to a female and her 6 year old son and smacked the son in the eye. Medical was summoned to evaluate the victim for minor injuries. The mother described the suspect as a homeless White male, 20-30 years old wearing a light colored hooded sweatshirt. Officers were unable to locate the suspect. Station video is to be requested.

A female patron reported that she was the victim of a sexual battery while entering Montgomery Station, at about 1645 hours today. The suspect approached the victim from behind while she was on the escalator fro the street to the concourse, and reached under her skirt to touch her private parts. The suspect then returned to the street and left the area. The suspect was described as a black male, about 25 years old, with a medium build and a goatee. The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. The victim did not report the crime until she reached Lake Merritt Station.

SF MUNI advised BART Operations Control that they had received reports of shots fired on the MUNI platform at Montgomery Street Station. SFPD confirmed that they had received a report of shots fired on the MUNI platform, with patrons running from the area. This information could not be confirmed via the CCTV system. Trains were run through the station as a precaution while BART and SFPD officers responded to investigate. Officers were unable to establish that any crime occurred and there appeared to be no merit to the report. Station stops were delayed about 11 minutes as a result of this incident. TSOC notified.

An adult male suspect detained by officers for fare evasion provided a false form of identification. The suspect then refused to identify himself to the officers, so he was placed under arrest and transported to the county jail. At the jail, the suspect was positively identified and found to have two outstanding warrants related to burglary, fraud and narcotics – and totaling more than $57K in bail amount; the warrants were held by the San Francisco County Sheriff’s Office and the South San Francisco Police Department. The suspect was then booked for the warrants, unlawful use of identification and providing false identification to police.

Preliminary investigation indicates fire was possibly caused by a construction crew working close by. The escalator was taken out of service and will be repaired. A station agent contacted a Black male juvenile whom he saw fare evade into the station; the juvenile was also in the company of three other Black male juveniles at the time. An argument ensued between the station agent and the main juvenile, which then escalated as the two exchanged punches. During the fight, the juvenile’s companions joined in and battered the agent as well. A sergeant and officers responded to the station, performed an area search for the suspects/juveniles, but were unable to locate them. As a result of being battered, the station agent sustained a minor head injury but declined medical attention. Officers searched for potential video evidence at street level, and the investigating officer requested station video.
