Officers responded to a fight on a train. Elsie Hodges (44, Oakland) was arrested for spousal battery and was issued a BART prohibition order. Cecil McPherson (38, Oakland) was arrested for violating a stay away order from BART property.
Belmont, Trevor (42 years old, San Francisco) was arrested for 647 (a) P.C. at the Lake Merritt Station. Belmont was issued a prohibition order and booked at the Santa Rita Jail.
Officers stopped an identified male and a female juvenile for fare evasion at the Lake Merritt Station. Both attempted to conceal their identity and provided false names to the officers. The juvenile was placed under arrest for 3 felony arrest warrants and 11359 H&S. The male was booked for 148.9 PC and will be identifies at the jail.
A female victim reported that her laptop was forcibly taken from her as she walked through the station parking lot. The suspect, described as a Black male, 20 to 30 years old, wearing a black hoodie, fled in a waiting vehicle (unknown make, black SUV bearing yellow paper plates with red printing on it) driven by a second unseen person. The suspect vehicle was last seen heading south on Madison St. from 8th St.
Patrons reported a male (Brian BORLAND, 27, Transient) was possibly involved in narcotics activity on board a Dublin bound train. Officers detained Borland, but found no evidence of narcotics activity. Record checks showed that Borland had two outstanding arrest warrants: $10,000 for larceny, held by Colma PD, and $7,500 for larceny, held by Pleasanton PD. Borland was arrested and booked at Glenn Dyer Jail.
A male, Darryl Edward LOWE (Antioch, 56 years old), was contacted for fare evasion and found to have a stay away order from all BART stations. LOWE was taken into custody for the violation of the stay away order and booked into Alameda County jail. 1802-1102 L15.
Nathaniel Smith (2/1/62, San Francisco) was arrested on a No Bail warrant out of San Mateo County for 344PC and 368(D)PC at the Lake Merritt Station. He will be booked for the warrants once medically cleared.
Thomas O'Bannon (29 years old, San Francisco) was arrested for battery on a peace officer, resisting a police officer and resisting arrest. O'Bannon was issued a prohibition order and booked at the Santa Rita Jail.
An adult male was detained for damaging pay phones inside the station and discharging a fire extinguisher into the agent's booth. The man was transported to John George Pavilion for psychiatric evaluation, with a criminal hold for vandalism and battery on a transit worker.
