While on patrol, an officer observed a subject running out of the paid area of station. The officer determined that a cell phone theft had just occurred and a foot pursuit ensued. At one point during the pursuit, the suspect threw down the victim's cell phone. The victim's cell phone was subsequently recovered. A search for the suspect yielded negative results. The suspect is described as a Black Male in his teens, 5'05 thin build, wearing a puffy jacket, and dark pants. Station video is to be requested.

A sergeant contacted an adult female for fare evasion. The female resisted the detention and fought with the sergeant. During the struggle, the suspect bit the sergeant. She was eventually taken into custody. She was found to have a valid stay away order to stay away from all BART stations. She was issued a prohibition order and placed on a psychiatric evaluation hold with a criminal hold for resisting arrest, battery on an officer and violation of the court order. She will be booked on those charges once she has been cleared for booking.

Officers detained the subject at the Hayward Station and determined he was a danger to himself. A wants check revealed that the subject (Garcia, Raymond, 31, Fairfield) had a no bail burglary warrant issued out from San Diego County; which was extraditable. The subject was placed under a psychiatric detention with a criminal hold for the warrant. TSOC was advised.
