Officers responded the report of a battery just occurred near Fruitvale Station. The investigation determined that the parties involved engaged in fight on board an AC Transit bus, possibly gang-related. The parties and case were turned over to Alameda County Sheriffs deputies.
An adult female was the victim of an indecent exposure by an adult male. The suspect was found to be on probation for a previous indecent exposure case out of this department. The suspect was booked for felony indecent exposure.

A patron on a Millbrae-bound train reported observing a subject exposing himself and masturbating. The suspect was taken into custody at Fruitvale station and was possibly a danger to himself. He was committed for psych evaluation and cited for the indecent exposure on a citizen's arrest.

A BART employee was approached by a male at the Fruitvale station. The male pointed a gun at the employee, and demanded money. The male took a wallet, cash, and a cell phone. There were no injuries, and the suspect fled in an unknown direction.
An adult male victim was assaulted by two adult male suspects at Fruitvale station. The suspects punched the victim while trying to take his cellphone. The suspects fled into the neighborhood. An area search proved negative.

A subject was held for psychiatric evaluation after he threatened to take away one officer's gun, then physically charged at another. The extremely violent and threatening subject was originally contacted for fare evasion. The subject was eventually subdued with pepper spray.
A female was punched in the face by a male acquaintance when their argument over a cell phone escalated to violence. He fled the area, but was quickly located by responding officers and arrested. Officers responded to a report from the Oakland Police that their officers were chasing an auto theft suspect on foot in or about the station and parking stucture. The suspect was later apprehended a block from the station.
A 19 yr. old male was beaten and stabbed in what appears to be a gang-related incident. The victim was followed from the parking lot to the bus stop by three males aging from 16 to 18 yrs. old. The three suspects shouted out their gang affiliation and assaulted the victim at the bus stop. The victim was beaten and stabbed in the back. The victim, who acknowledged that he too is a gang member, sustained multiple stab wounds, a punctured lung and head wounds, none of which were life-threatening. The suspects remain outstanding.
A patron was walking between the bus zone and bike shop when she was attacked from behind and had her purse stolen. The suspect struck the victim's head with a hard object, knocking her to the ground. He fled with the purse toward E. 12th Street and was GOA/UTL. The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment.
A dispute over a seat on a train spilled out onto the platform at Fruitvale station where the suspect punched the victim and attempted to throw the victim over a wall and down a flight of stairs. BART PD K9 officers, who were training at the station, responded and arrested the suspect. The suspect was booked for aggravated assault. The victim received minor injuries.
An adult male making verbal threats to passengers on board a Richmond bound train had to be physically subdued by responding officers after he resisted their attempts to detain him. The subject was transported in restraints to the hospital for psychiatric evaluation.
