The victim reported his 85' Chevy Camaro was burglarized between the hours of 0800-1427 while parked in stall #463 of the parking structure. It is unknown how the suspect(s) entered the vehicle, as the owner said there appeared to be no forced entry, and the vehicle was no longer at the station for the officer to inspect. The victim reported loss from the vehicle was a pair of $250 Nike shoes and a gold necklace.
Officers intercepted a Fremont bound train for a report of a male creating a disturbance on the train. Officers intercepted the train, removed the male from the train and determined he was too intoxicated to care for himself. He was booked at the Glenn Dyer Jail.
Officers contacted an adult male for smoking in the station. A records check revealed that the male is on parole. A parole search of his person revealed a small, concealed dirk/dagger. The male was issued a citation for smoking and booked into the Glenn Dyer Jail for possession of the weapon. His parole officer was contacted and a parole hold was also placed on him.
Officers responded to the Fruitvale Station for a report of a male disturbing the peace at the Fruitvale Station. Officers located the male and determined he was too intoxicated to care for himself. The male was placed under arrest for public intoxication and was booked at the Glenn Dyer Jail.
Officers responded to the Fruitvale Station for a report of a male fare evader. The officers located the male and determined he violated a court order prohibiting him from being on BART property. The male was booked at the Glenn Dyer Jail.
A witness reported a group of male juveniles suspected of theft entered the Coliseum Station and traveled to the Fruitvale Station. The group fare evaded out of the station and were detained on International Blvd at 34th Ave. A records check showed two males had arrest warrants and the 3rd was clear of warrants or holds. The two males were booked into juvenile hall and the 3rd was released to his mother. Detectives were advised.
10-10-16 1340 hours (A platoon case) A victim standing on a northbound train at the Fruitvale station had their Iphone 6 plus taken out of his hand. The suspect fled on foot and was described as a Black Male 18-20 yrs old, 6’-2” tall, wearing a white hoody and jeans.
Two victim s reported that a group of suspects (approximately 8-10 BMJs) grabbed their iPhone and Macbook Pro from them as the train pulled into the station. The juvenile suspects ran out of the station toward 35th Avenue and were not located. The victims were not injured and their devices were not able to be tracked. Train/station video will be requested. 1610-0381,

A victim reported that their silver 2002 Toyota Corolla was burglarized while on the second level of the parking structure, stall #392, between 1730 hours on 10-3-16 and 0042 hours on 10-4-16. The vehicle’s driver’s door lock was pried to gain entry and two Epson brand projectors were taken. Officers responded and completed a report; the victim declined to have their vehicle processed for latent prints.
A patron reported that three suspects robbed him of his backpack, which contained $700 in cash and a passport. The suspects got out of an older silver 4-door sedan and approached the victim in the bus zone, claiming they had a knife. The suspects were described as black males in their early teens, one wearing a white shirt, one a red shirt, and one a black sweatshirt. There was no description of the driver of the sedan, which left the area. The suspects fled on foot. The victim was not injured. Officers were unable to locate the suspects in the area.
A victim reported that while aboard a Dublin/Pleasanton bound train a black male, wearing a red jacket, snatched their white iPhone 6 from their grasp and stepped off the train as its doors closed. The victim continued traveling aboard the train and reported the theft at the San Leandro station. The victim was not injured. An officer, who responded to take the report, was unable to track the phone. Station and train video was requested.
A victim reported that while aboard a Richmond bound train, a black male juvenile wearing red clothing, snatched their iPhone from their grasp and stepped off the train as its doors closed. The victim continued traveling aboard the train and reported the theft at the 19th Street station. Officers unsuccessfully searched for the suspect, and were unable to track the phone. The victim was not injured.
Patrons reported that a black male was jumping on and off track #2. Power was dropped on the track as a precaution. The suspect was described as a black male, 25 years old, wearing a black shirt, black pants and carrying a black backpack. The suspect boarded a northbound train that was holding at the station. Officers contacted the man and detained him without incident. Witnesses reported that the man appeared to be trying to jump in front of the arriving northbound train. No witnesses came forward for the trespassing violation. The man, who refused to identify himself, was transported by ambulance to John George Pavilion for psychiatric evaluation and treatment.
A female victim reported that a female suspect (BF, 16 years, long hair, maroon t-shirt, dark pants, appeared to be with two males - BMs 16 years) grabbed her purse from her as the train arrived at the station and fled out of the station. The purse contained a Samsung laptop computer. The victim was not injured. Station video will be requested.
A female victim reported that thirty (30) minutes earlier, while attempting to place her wallet in a backpack near the fare gates, a black male suspect suddenly snatched the wallet from her grasp and fled north bound from the station on a black bicycle. The victim, who was not injured during the theft, further described the suspect as follows: 6’2” tall; short hair; wearing a camouflage jacket, white/black Nike shoes, black Adidas track pants and a blue/gray backpack. The investigating officer requested station video.
A victim reported that their 1998 Buick Park Avenue was burglarized while parked in the Derby Street lot between 1200 and 2358 hours on 9/19/16. The vehicle’s driver’s door was defeated by unknown means, and a Duralite-brand car battery and work tools were taken. An officer responded to take the report.
Officers detained a juvenile for fare evasion and determined that the suspect was wanted on a no-bail warrant for a Welfare and Institutions Code violation. The suspect was cited for fare evasion and booked into juvenile hall.
The victim reported that around 0100-0130 this morning, he was offered a ride by 4 subjects who were in the taxi stand area of the station in a red Nissan 4 door sedan. The victim described the subjects as a Black female and 3 Black males. The victim refused a ride and walked away toward the Fruitvale Village. Suddenly, the victim was knocked to the ground from behind by a male suspect, further described as 6'02", and wearing unknown clothing. The victim told the suspect to "take anything he wanted." The suspect took the victim's iPhone 6 and a wallet containing the victim's ID, credit cards, and $100 cash. The victim sustained a minor scratch to his chest and back. The victim is not able to ID the suspect.
Officers responded to the station regarding the report of a male suspect displaying a handgun while on the Fremont platform. On their arrival officers located and detained the suspect, at handgun point. A search of the suspect, however, did not turn up a firearm and he was subsequently released. A sergeant responded to perform the use of force investigation.
