An officer contacted a juvenile male for fare evasion. The juvenile provided false identifying information. Eventually, the officer was able to identify the juvenile and discovered that he had a no bail warrant for running away from a group home. The juvenile was cited for fare evasion and providing false identifying information and then booked into juvenile hall for the warrant.
Officer detained a male for fare evasion as he exited through the emergency exit at the Fruitvale Station. A records check showed the male had a felony no cite warrant issued by Alameda County. The male was cited for fare evasion and was booked on the warrant.
A female victim reported that a female suspect grabbed her purse and ran off of the train at the Fruitvale Station. The suspect (BF, 4'11", 18-24 years) ran off with six other females and was not located. The purse contained ID and credit cards. The victim was not injured. Train/station video will be requested.
A male called dispatch and reported he was being chased and his life was in danger. BART Officers responded. The suspect appeared to be in a drug induced psychosis and resisted the detention. The suspect fled on foot and jump over the fare gates to escape. A BART Officer attempted to tase the suspect. During the confrontation the Officer injured his right hand and had to be transported to Kaiser Oakland. The suspect got away but was located in the 2500 block of International Blvd where he was taken into custody with the assistance of OPD Officers. A BART Sgt responded for the use of force investigation.
A CSO reported a suspicious male looking into vehicles. Officers contacted the male and discovered that he is on probation and in possession of a burglary tool. He was taken into custody and was to be interviewed by detectives before being booked into the Glenn Dyer Jail for possession of the burglary tool and a probation violation.
An officer contacted an adult male for fare evasion and discovered that he had a $50,000 warrant for counterfeiting. The male was issued a citation of fare evasion and booked into the Santa Rita Jail for the warrant.

Officers responded to the station regarding the report of a robbery having just occurred in the station’s taxi zone in which a black male suspect threatened to shoot the victim while simulating a weapon. The suspect took the victim’s purse, which contained $400.00 in cash, before fleeing toward 35th Ave. Officers performed an unsuccessful search for the suspect, who was further described as: 25 years of age; wearing a black hoodie and black shirt with “Straight Outta Oakland” written on it. The victim was not injured.
A victim reported that their silver Toyota Corolla was burglarized while parked at the south end of the station, stall 1121, between 0630 hours on 11/10/16 and 1500 hours on 11/13/16. The vehicle’s right rear door’s window was smashed to gain entry, but no items were taken. An officer contacted the victim and completed a report.
A 1985 Chevy Camaro that was parked at the station between 07:00 and 15:45 was burglarized by an unknown suspect who forced the driver's window down and entered the vehicle to remove the Kenwood stereo and a pair of shoes. The car was parked on the 3rd level of the parking structure in space #501.
A 2017 Toyota Corolla and a 2016 Toyota Corolla, which were both parked in the South parking lot on 11/12/16 between 06:00 and 13:30, were broken into by an unknown suspect who entered the vehicles via window smash and ransacked the interiors. The vehicles were processed for evidence.

An officer contacted the male and found he was able to care for himself, but a records check revealed that he had a $15,000 warrant for vandalism. He was also found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine. The male was booked into the Glenn Dyer Jail for the warrant and methamphetamine possession charge.
Two Critical Asset Patrol Officers were at the station when a male victim pointed out a fleeing suspect and said that the suspect had taken his phone while they were on the platform. The officers chased the suspect and took him into custody as he tried to throw the phone. The victim fell while chasing the suspect, but declined medical attention. The suspect (a juvenile) was issued a citation and released to a parent. Station video will be requested.
An officer on patrol stopped a male fare evader at the Fruitvale Station. A records check showed the suspect had a no cite, $5,000 warrant issued by OPD. The male was issued a warning citation for fare evasion and was booked on the warrant.
While parked in the passenger loading zone at the Fruitvale BART station, the victim was approached by two male suspects who demanded his vehicle. He stated the suspects were armed with a silver handgun and were wearing animal masks. The vehicle was a white 2015 BMW X3 CA plate 7HMX833. The direction of flight was 34th but the victim, who was not injured, could not provide a direction once the vehicle hit San Leandro St. Officers responded to investigate. Station video was requested. 1610-1884 S52 TSOC notified.
Passengers reported a male playing loud music on the train. Officers intercepted the train and contacted the male suspect, who was determined to have a $5,000 warrant for burglary. A search of his person revealed numerous pieces of ID belonging to other people. He was also in possession of prescription pills packaged for sale. No one wished to make a complaint for the original violation, so he was issued a prohibition order and booked into the Glenn Dyer Jail for misappropriation of lost property, possession of narcotics for sale and the warrant.
An officer saw a commonly stolen vehicle driving in a suspicious manner from the Fruitvale Parking Structure. A records check on the plate showed the driver had a no bail arrest warrant. The officer stopped the vehicle, confirmed the driver had a no bail arrest warrant and placed him under arrest. The vehicle belonged to the driver and was legally parked.
Passengers aboard a Richmond bound train reported a black male suspect with a knife on his person. Officers responded and detained the suspect who did have a knife in a sheath, but never displayed it. A subsequent records check revealed an outstanding $5K warrant for petty theft. Officers placed the suspect under arrest for the outstanding warrant. The suspect was then booked into the county jail.
The victim reported his 85' Chevy Camaro was burglarized between the hours of 0800-1427 while parked in stall #463 of the parking structure. It is unknown how the suspect(s) entered the vehicle, as the owner said there appeared to be no forced entry, and the vehicle was no longer at the station for the officer to inspect. The victim reported loss from the vehicle was a pair of $250 Nike shoes and a gold necklace.
Officers intercepted a Fremont bound train for a report of a male creating a disturbance on the train. Officers intercepted the train, removed the male from the train and determined he was too intoxicated to care for himself. He was booked at the Glenn Dyer Jail.

A witness reported a group of male juveniles suspected of theft entered the Coliseum Station and traveled to the Fruitvale Station. The group fare evaded out of the station and were detained on International Blvd at 34th Ave. A records check showed two males had arrest warrants and the 3rd was clear of warrants or holds. The two males were booked into juvenile hall and the 3rd was released to his mother. Detectives were advised.
10-10-16 1340 hours (A platoon case) A victim standing on a northbound train at the Fruitvale station had their Iphone 6 plus taken out of his hand. The suspect fled on foot and was described as a Black Male 18-20 yrs old, 6’-2” tall, wearing a white hoody and jeans.
