Officer contacted a male subject, later identified as Tyrell Smallwood (26 years old), for fare evasion. Officer discovered that Smallwood had a warrant and attempted to arrest him. Smallwood ran but was apprehended a short distance away. Smallwood was arrested on the listed charges and booked into Santa Rita County Jail.
Victim reported a burglary to their 1997 Honda Accord while it was parked in the East Lot at the Fremont Station. The burglary occurred between 1615 hours on 8/25/17 and 1800 hours on 8/27/17. It is unknown how entry was made. The loss was five dollars ($5) in coins.
Officers were conducting fare evasion enforcement at the Fremont Station when they observed a male (Shawn Henderson, 54 years, Oakland) fare evade into the station through an emergency gate. Henderson was detained and a records check showed he had parole hold for violation of his parole. Henderson was cited for fare evasion and was booked on the warrant at Santa Rita Jail.
An officer detained a subject for fare evasion. A wants check revealed a felony no bail warrant for robbery from SF County, and a misdemeanor 30k warrant charging theft held by BART PD. The subject (Robinson, Al, 36 years old out of San Francisco) is to be booked into the Fremont City Jail.
Officers stopped a male subject (Henderson, Shawn 54 y/o, Oakland) for fare evasion. A records check revealed a court order prohibiting the subject from entering BART property. The subject was cited for fare evasion and booked at the Santa Rita Jail for the court order violation.
A victim reported being robbed by two male suspects (#1 - HM, 20s, 6', 180 lbs, short beard, dark jacket and pants, #2 - Unknown race male, black hoodie, blue jeans) while he was in the bus zone. Suspect #1 brandished an 8" knife before demanding money. The victim gave them his wallet, which contained his ID, an ATM card and $25 cash. The suspects then fled on foot and were not located. The victim was not injured. Station video will be requested.
Victim reported being pushed by a subject in the bus zone at the station. Victim positively identified the subject and made a citizen’s arrest. The subject was issued a citation and released. An officer took the report.
A male suspect detained for fare evasion by officers was found to be on searchable probation, which then led to the discovery that he was in possession of narcotics, narcotics paraphernalia and a credit card belonging to another individual. The suspect was eventually booked into the county jail for the narcotic and probation violations. The officers will perform further investigation regarding the credit card.
A victim reported a male was creating a disturbance by attempting to pick a fight with patrons at the Fremont Station. Officers responded, located the male and placed him under arrest for public intoxication.
A male suspect detained as a “suspicious person” by an officer was found to have an outstanding $35K misdemeanor theft warrant, held by Concord Police, for his arrest. The suspect was then arrested and booked into the county jail for the warrant.
Officer took a report from a male subject who wished to file a report regarding the burglary of his father’s vehicle. The male advised his father had left the station with the vehicle, a 1988 Pontiac Fiero, however he wished to file a report. The male reported that his father parked the vehicle at approximately 0700 hours and returned at approximately 1738 hours. The male advised it was unknown how the suspect entered the vehicle, as there was no damage. The male stated the vehicle was ransacked and reported a loss of the vehicle registration/insurance card. The victim also reported damage to the ignition and center console.
