The victim reported that her Honda Insight was burglarized today while parked in stall #2306 between the hours of 0930-1130. The unknown suspect gained entry into the vehicle via a front driver's side window smash. There was no reported loss and the victim declined to have her vehicle processed for evidence.
The victim reported the theft of her green Shimano bike, unknown model and serial number, estimated at $500. The victim secured her bike with a U-Lock on 3/11/16 at 1247 hours, and upon her return on 3/14/16 at 0744 hours, found her bike missing. The U-Lock was on the ground with no apparent damage.
A station agent called to report a female who had brandished a stun gun at him on 3/12 was in the station again today. The female boarded a train, which was intercepted at the Castro Valley Station. A sergeant contacted her and determined that she had a $10,000 warrant for contempt of court. She was also found to be in possession of a stun gun. The station agent was transported to the suspect and identified her as the person who brandished a stun gun at him on 3/12. She was booked into the Santa Rita Jail for the warrant. The brandishing incident will be referred to Detectives for criminal complaint review.
A victim reported that their vehicle was burglarized while parked on the 2nd level of the parking structure between 1500 hours on 3/11 and 1500 hours on 3/12. The rear passenger window was smashed to gain entry and a backpack was taken.
A victim reported that they locked their bicycle (unknown make or model) to the bike racks on 3/10/16 at 0430 hours. The bicycle was secured with a U-Lock. The victim returned at 0430 hours this morning to find their bicycle gone. The estimated value of the bike is $300.
An officer was dispatched to conduct a welfare check on an adult male. The male was contacted and found to have a $10,000 warrant for assault with a deadly weapon and a $10,000 warrant for a violation of his sex offender registration requirements. The male was booked into the Santa Rita Jail for the warrants.
A victim reported the theft of their blue Novara Aspen men’s mountain bicycle, valued at $400.00, while it was parked at the station between 0800 and 1200 hours on 3/2/16. An officer contacted the victim and completed a report.
A victim reported the theft of two bikes (green/black men's 13-speed Schwinn and cream colored women's 7-speed Schwinn) from the bike racks. The bikes were secured with a coil/cable lock and padlock at 0730 hours and when the victim s returned at 1415 hours, their bikes were gone.
Officers were checking on a male who was on an out of service train and discovered that he was too intoxicated to care for himself. The male had to be physically restrained to be taken into custody. He was booked into the Santa Rita Jail for public intoxication.
A female suspect detained by an officer for creating a disturbance was found to have (2) $10K prostitution warrants and one “no bail” burglary warrant, held by Napa and Oakland Police Departments, respectively, for her arrest. The officer placed the suspect under arrest for the warrants without incident, and then booked her into the county jail.
A total of four (4) train cars were vandalized with spray painted graffiti while out-of-service in the nearby storage tracks, between 0130 and 0430 hours. An officer responded to investigate and requested video. Train service was not delayed as a result of this incident. TSOC was notified.
A train operator called to report a male with a stay away order on a train at the station. An officer contacted the male and confirmed the stay away order was valid. The male was booked into the Santa Rita Jail for the court order violation.
A patron reported that a male at the station was acting strangely. The male approached the reporting party and asked for a ride to the bank, and then asked for money. The suspect was described as a black male in his 40's, wearing a blue sweater, white polo shirt and jeans. The reporting party refused to make a complaint. Record checks showed that the suspect had two outstanding arrest warrants: $5,000 for resisting arrest, held by Fremont PD; and $5,000 for battery on transit property, held by BART PD. The man was arrested for his warrants and was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
A victim reported that their silver-colored 2006 Mitsubishi Outlander was burglarized while parked in stall 2928, between 0735 to 1810 hours. The vehicle’s front passenger door window was smashed to gain entry and the following items were taken: A pair of Ralph Lauren sunglasses, the vehicle’s registration & insurance cards, as well as the vehicle’s manual. The investigating officer completed a report.
A victim reported that their blue 2005 Toyota Sienna was burglarized while parked in stall 2937, between 0720 to 1750 hours. The vehicle’s passenger door window was smashed to gain entry and the vehicle’s registration and insurance cards were taken. The investigating officer processed the vehicle for fingerprints and completed a report.
An officer responded to a call of a male creating a disturbance at the East Dublin station. The male refused to comply with verbal instructions, pushed past the officer and battered him. The officer used force to place him under arrest and he was booked at Santa Rita Jail for failure to identify himself and battery on an officer. The male was issued a prohibition order.
A victim reported her 1992 Honda Accord was stolen from stall #1388 at the East Dublin Station, between 0451-2023 hours. The officer conducted a search of the station for the Honda and located the Honda in stall #181. The Honda was running, the passenger window was down and the car was running. The officer processed the Honda for prints and located several partial prints. An officer completed an auto theft/recovery report.
A victim reported their brown 2002 Nissan Truck was broken into while parked in stall #2827 of the East Dublin Station, between 0645-1940 hours. Loss was a garage door opened and vehicle registration for the Nissan. The front passenger window was smashed to make entry into the truck. The victim declined to have the truck processed for prints.
A victim reported that their beige 2003 Chevrolet Malibu was burglarized while parked in the station’s permit-only lot between 0900 hours on 1/30/16 and 1323 hours on 2/1/16. The vehicle was entered by unknown means, its interior ransacked, but no items were taken. The vehicle’s ignition was damaged in an apparent attempt to steal the vehicle. The victim declined to allow the investigating officer to process the vehicle for fingerprints.
