The victim reported the theft of their men’s black mountain bicycle (unknown name brand), valued at $100.00, while it was U-locked at the station between 4/11/17 and 1750 hours on 4/14/17. An officer took the report.
A passenger called in a male on the platform acting strangely. An officer contacted the male and determined that he was too intoxicated to care for himself. The male was booked into the Santa Rita Jail for public intoxication.
A victim reported the theft of their orange unknown brand men's mountain bike from the racks. The bike was secured with a cable lock at 0630 hours and when the victim returned at 1733 hours, the bike and lock were gone.
A female was seen walking on the transfer tracks east of the platform. She exited to Hacienda Drive by using an emergency exit. She returned about an hour later, and was seen touching the electric third rail. An officer attempted to detain her, but she again fled to Hacienda Drive. The officer managed to detain the woman on the on-ramp leading to I-580. Officers determined that the woman was in need of psychiatric care and she was transported to John George Pavilion for treatment.
A victim reported that his vehicle was entered by possible door lock cheat and the interior was ransacked while the vehicle was parked between 0825-1950 hours. A few small miscellaneous items were taken. The victim declined to have the vehicle processed for evidence.
On officer detained the suspect for fare evasion. A records check revealed an outstanding $20,000 warrant held by the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office for domestic violence. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Rita Jail on the warrant. The suspect was also cited for fare evasion.
A victim reported the theft of his dark grey Giant Boulder SE bike from the bike racks. The bike was secured with a U-lock at 0800 hours and when he returned at 1949 hours, the bike and lock were gone.
The victim’s 04’ Honda Odyssey was burglarized between the hours of 0845-2100 while parked in stall #807 on the 2nd level of the Pleasanton parking garage. Entry was made via a rear window smash. The interior of the vehicle was ransacked with no apparent loss. An officer processed the vehicle for latent prints with negative results.
A victim reported the theft of their red and black Merax Finiss bike from the bike racks. The bike was secured with a cable lock at 0900 hours and when the victim returned at 1710 hours, the bike and lock were gone.
A victim reported the theft of their white/orange GMC brand road bicycle, valued at $1500.00, while it was cable locked at the station between 1530 and 2320 hours. An officer responded to take the report.
A victim reported via telephone the theft of their black, Bianchi Cortina, 21 speed bike from the bike racks. The bike was secured with a cable lock on 12/16 at 0700 hours and when the victim returned at 1900 hours on the same day the bike was gone.
The station agent at Dublin/Pleasanton reported that a male suspect verbally threatened him. the suspect boarded a SF bound train and officers detained the man at Castro Valley Station. The agent made a positive identification and a citizen's arrest. The suspect was cited for disturbing the peace and released at the scene.
A patron reported that their silver 2016 Subaru Impreza was burglarized between 1130-2315 hours, while parked in stall #1805, on the Pleasanton side of the station. An unknown suspect smashed the right front window to gain entry. The victim could not identify any loss.
A patron reported that their gray Honda Pilot was burglarized while parked on the 3rd level of the parking structure. Officers responded and eventually located a total of 6 victim vehicles on the 3rd and 5th levels of the structure. Unknown suspects smashed the windows of the vehicles and appeared to be targeting property left in plain view. Clothing, credit and gift cards were taken from some of the vehicles, while other victims reported no property loss.
