A 62-year-old man reported that several young men were disturbing passengers, smoking marijuana and playing loud music aboard the train. An officer contacted a 21-year-old man. The suspect was cited on a citizen’s arrest for willfully disturbing others. He was also cited on two BART fare evasion warrants with a total bail of $3,546. The train was delayed for 6 minutes.
An male adult punched and kicked the pregnant mother of his 5 year old child while at the station. No medical attention was needed. The male was arrested and booked at the Santa Rita Jail for domestic battery.
A victim reported his vehicle had just been broken into in Dublin's jurisdiction, and the suspect was walking into the station with his laptop. A depressed 17-year-old girl, who may have intended to jump from the top of the parking structure, was detained by an officer. She was subsequently transported by paramedics to a local hospital for psychiatric evaluation.
A vendor selling food at the station reported that he had been in a dispute with a customer who had demanded a refund for food that was purchased and partially consumed. When the vendor refused to return the customer's money, the customer held a knife in a threatening manner while continuing to demand a refund. The suspect fled when the vendor threatened to call the police, but then later returned to the station to apologize to the victim. The victim delayed reporting the incident until later in the day. Officers searched the area, but could not located the suspect.
The California Highway Patrol received reports that someone was possibly firing a BB or Pellet gun onto the east bound 580 Freeway from the top of the Dublin/Pleasanton Station’s platform or parking structure. Numerous victims called 911 reporting their vehicles being struck. BART Police along with Dublin and Pleasanton Police performed a search of the structure and the immediate area but met with negative results. A California Highway Patrol helicopter also performed an aerial security check but failed to locate any suspect(s). There were no reported injuries. TSOC was notified of the incident.
An officer observed a subject passed out on the sidewalk in the bus zone area of the station. The subject had passed out due to alcohol intoxication and had to be transported to a local hospital for further treatment and observations. The subject was later medically cleared and booked at the Santa Rita Jail for the drunk in public violation.
Dublin police reported two suspected bank robbers may have fled to the BART station after being chased by their officers. Trains were held at the station to prevent the suspects' escape. A BART officer saw two possible suspects on board the train that was at the station. When sufficient Dublin units arrived, BART and Dublin officers searched the train and detained the two possible suspects. The trains were released for normal service. It was later determined that the two detainees were not involved in the robbery. Service was delayed by 30 minutes.
A female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while walking in the parking structure. While she was on the ground, a second vehicle struck the victim as well. The victim was transported to the hospital via ambulance to be treated for her non-life threatening injuries. Both drivers are cooperating with the investigation.
Trains were held and power dropped while officers responded to a call of an adult male acting erratically, claiming he overdosed on hallucenogic drugs. The subject was detained without incident and transported to a local medical facility for psychiatric evaluation.
An adult male battered a female passenger while aboard a Dublin bound train. Other passengers on the train physically restrained the suspect until officers intercepted the train at the Lake Merritt Station. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and booked at the Glen Dyer Jail for battery. The female was not injured.
BART PD officers observed a female suspect fare evade to exit Dublin / Pleasanton station. The officers contacted the female suspect and determined she was in violation of a court order prohibiting her from being on BART property. The officers attempted to take her into physical custody for the restraining order violation and she resisted arrest. The suspect spat at the officers and attempted to escape. During the struggle one officer suffered abrasions and cuts to his leg. After the suspect was subdued she kicked a different officer that had taken her to be medically cleared for booking. The suspect suffered minor injury and was cleared for booking at Santa Rita Jail.
Detectives are looking into the cause of death of an adult male found lying in an enclosed area of a power substation adjacent to the parking structure on the Dublin side of the station. A citizen walking to his car spotted the body and reported it to Livermore Police who in turn notified BPD.
A warrant check on a male subject detained for smoking on the platform revealed the subject was on active parole. A search of the subject resulted in the recovery of 8 large bags and 18 small baggies of suspected marijuana, and $400.00 in cash. The suspect was arrested and booked for possession of narcotics for sales and for parole violation at the Santa Rita Jail.
After banging their car door into another occupied vehicle, the occupants of the former vehicle threatened the driver of the latter car with bodily harm/death if he dared to do something about it. The victim followed the suspects to an apparent residence and notified police. Officers responded to the residence and got no response after knocking on the door. The suspect vehicle was towed with a criminal investigation to follow.
A male and female, who were in a dating relationship, began to argue while in a car in the station parking lot. Two witnesses saw a male suspect breaking into the trunk of a vehicle in the parking lot on the Pleasanton side of the station. The suspect ran from the witnesses and into the station, where he was promptly arrested by BART police officers. The suspect was booked for burglary at the Santa Rita Jail. 0909-0567 L12.
An officer responded to a report of a possible domestic dispute and found an adult male arguing with an ex-girlfriend over visitation rights with their young son. The male subject became uncooperative when the officer attempted to determine what was going on. It was later determined that the male would not allow the ex-girlfriend to leave with the child. The subject physically resisted the officer's attempt to detain him and with the aid of an off-duty BPD officer was able to subdue him after a physical struggle. The subject was arrested and booked on the above charges.
After getting into a verbal dispute, a woman battered the father of her child outside the BART station. The victim sustained no serious injuries. The female, who was on probation, was arrested and booked at the Santa Rita Jail for spousal battery.
A male subject who was asleep on an out-of-service train became combative upon being awakened by an officer. After a brief struggle, the officer placed the subject under arrest. The subject was booked at the Santa Rita Jail for resisting arrest and for violating his parole. 0904-2760 L12.
An officer responded to the station to investigate a report of an adult male who had just exited the station without processing a ticket. The suspect was detained nearby and a warrant check revealed that the suspect was wanted on a felony no-bail warrant for burglary. A passenger on a train at Dublin/Pleasanton Station had her cellular phone forcibly taken from her possession by a male in his 20's. The suspect fled the area prior to the arrival of responding officers.

Upon verification of the subject's true name, a warrant check revealed a felony no-bail arrest warrant for a parole violation.
