A vendor selling food at the station reported that he had been in a dispute with a customer who had demanded a refund for food that was purchased and partially consumed. When the vendor refused to return the customer's money, the customer held a knife in a threatening manner while continuing to demand a refund. The suspect fled when the vendor threatened to call the police, but then later returned to the station to apologize to the victim. The victim delayed reporting the incident until later in the day. Officers searched the area, but could not located the suspect.

The California Highway Patrol received reports that someone was possibly firing a BB or Pellet gun onto the east bound 580 Freeway from the top of the Dublin/Pleasanton Station’s platform or parking structure. Numerous victims called 911 reporting their vehicles being struck. BART Police along with Dublin and Pleasanton Police performed a search of the structure and the immediate area but met with negative results. A California Highway Patrol helicopter also performed an aerial security check but failed to locate any suspect(s). There were no reported injuries. TSOC was notified of the incident.

Dublin police reported two suspected bank robbers may have fled to the BART station after being chased by their officers. Trains were held at the station to prevent the suspects' escape. A BART officer saw two possible suspects on board the train that was at the station. When sufficient Dublin units arrived, BART and Dublin officers searched the train and detained the two possible suspects. The trains were released for normal service. It was later determined that the two detainees were not involved in the robbery. Service was delayed by 30 minutes.

BART PD officers observed a female suspect fare evade to exit Dublin / Pleasanton station. The officers contacted the female suspect and determined she was in violation of a court order prohibiting her from being on BART property. The officers attempted to take her into physical custody for the restraining order violation and she resisted arrest. The suspect spat at the officers and attempted to escape. During the struggle one officer suffered abrasions and cuts to his leg. After the suspect was subdued she kicked a different officer that had taken her to be medically cleared for booking. The suspect suffered minor injury and was cleared for booking at Santa Rita Jail.

A search of the subject resulted in the recovery of 8 large bags and 18 small baggies of suspected marijuana, and $400.00 in cash. The suspect was arrested and booked for possession of narcotics for sales and for parole violation at the Santa Rita Jail.

After banging their car door into another occupied vehicle, the occupants of the former vehicle threatened the driver of the latter car with bodily harm/death if he dared to do something about it. The victim followed the suspects to an apparent residence and notified police. Officers responded to the residence and got no response after knocking on the door. The suspect vehicle was towed with a criminal investigation to follow.

An officer responded to a report of a possible domestic dispute and found an adult male arguing with an ex-girlfriend over visitation rights with their young son. The male subject became uncooperative when the officer attempted to determine what was going on. It was later determined that the male would not allow the ex-girlfriend to leave with the child. The subject physically resisted the officer's attempt to detain him and with the aid of an off-duty BPD officer was able to subdue him after a physical struggle. The subject was arrested and booked on the above charges.
