A patron called to report that his vehicle had been burglarized on 2/28 between 0700-1800 hours.  He said that he had parked his blue 1991 Honda Accord on the Pleasanton side of the station.  When he returned, he noticed that the driver's door was unlocked and his stereo was missing.  He said that it appears that the suspect possibly entered via door lock cheat.  The vehicle was not processed as the report was delayed and made via phone.

A patron report via telephone that his red 1991 Toyota Corolla had been burglarized while it was parked and locked in the Pleasanton parking lot on 2/28/12 between 0520-2045 hours. The doors were unlocked, the interior was ransacked, and the victim discovered a broken key in the ignition. Nothing else was damaged or taken. 1202-4017 L12.

A patron reported his 1999 green Toyota Tacoma truck had been burglarized while it was parked and locked in the Pleasanton parking lot between 0730-2000 hours on 2/28/12. The driver door lock was damaged. The interior of the vehicle was ransacked, and a pair of jeans was taken. There was no further damage to the vehicle and nothing else was taken. The victim refused the officer’s request to process the vehicle for evidence or photograph the vehicle. 1202-4010 L12.

A patron reported that she parked her 2002 Toyota 4-Runner in space #2706 on the Pleasanton-side of the station at about 07:05. When she returned at 18:15, she discovered that some unknown suspect had pried the lock on the driver's door. The suspect had entered the vehicle and conducted a messy search removing CD's and a GPS. The vehicle was processed for evidence.

A patron reported by phone that he parked and locked his 2000 Toyota 4-Runner in stall #2732 on the Pleasanton-side of the station at about 06:30. When the patron returned at 16:45 he discovered that some unknown suspect had pried the door lock on the driver's side of the vehicle. The suspect entered the vehicle and conducted a messy search of the interior and removed a pair of sunglasses.

A victim reported to an officer at the station that on 2/22 between 1400-2100 hours, his white 1999 Toyota Tacoma pickup had been burglarized in the Pleasanton lot.  The victim reported that entry must have been made via door lock cheat and the interior was ransacked, but nothing taken.  Because of the delay in reporting and victim contamination, photos were taken, but the vehicle was not processed for prints.

Psychiatric Evaluation/False Imprisonment

Subject entered the agents’ booth and would not allow the agent to leave.  The agent called police dispatch while the subject talked into his phone.  An officer responded and was able to get into the booth, releasing the agent who was not injured.  The subject was placed on a psychiatric detention.  An independent witness also described seeing the subject push the agent.   The department will be notified upon his release from the subjects evaluation for booking on false imprisonment and battery charges.

Officers responded to the station for a report of a subject who was damaging a BART Police vehicle parked front of the station. A BART employee witnessed a male holding a bottle of vodka and kicking the doors of the police vehicle several times with his feet. The employee made the identification to Dublin Police, who detained the suspect, as well as videotaped the incident. Both passenger side doors of the vehicle were damaged and the suspect was placed under arrest for vandalism and public intoxication. The scene was processed for evidence, the Video Hotline was notified, and the vehicle was taken to the Oakland Shops for repair. 1202-1732 L12.

An officer detained a suspect for fare evasion after he observed the suspect "piggy-back" to exit the system without processing a BART ticket. The suspect was uncooperative during the detention and was ultimately arrested for fare evasion, refusing to sign the citation and resisting arrest.

A woman reported that she has a restraining order against her former boyfriend and that he was following her.  A sergeant spoke to the victim when she offboarded a Dublin train at Castro Valley station.  Officers located the suspect at the Dublin/Pleasanton station.  The suspect was found to have two outstanding Alameda Co. felony warrants, and one outstanding San Francisco misdemeanor warrant.  (The first felony warrant was a no-bail narcotics warrant.  The second felony warrant was for stalking and terrorist threats, with a bail of $320,000.  The misdemeanor warrant was for assault with a deadly weapon, with a bail of $75,000.)  The suspect was arrested for the warrants, violation of a court order, and for terrorist threats made against the victim.  The suspect was booked into Santa Rita Jail.

The station agent reported an approximately 55-year-old woman collapsed in front of the fare gates to enter the station and was on the ground unconscious.  Code 3 medical was summoned and a nearby good Samaritans began performing first-aid/CPR.  An officer was at the station at the time and responded immediately, gathering witness accounts of what had transpired. Fire/Medical arrived at 1218 hrs and continued to perform CPR on the woman.  The woman was transported Code 3 to Valley Care Medical Center.  According to the daughter-in-law, who was with the woman at the time, the woman stated she was feeling dizzy shortly before she collapsed in front of the fare gates.  There does not appear to be any foul play involved in this incident based on witnesses’ accounts of what transpired.

An unknown white male subject was seen near the TM zone area past the end of the platform carrying a big Alhambra water bottle.  The reporting person described the subject as wearing a dark hoodie, and having multiple piercings.   When the subject was found by a train operator, the subject jumped the fence and started walking toward the Regal Cinemas and no longer had the water bottle.  BART Police responded and looked for the subject but were unable to locate him.

A heated verbal argument between a BART System Service worker and a patron began over the worker having parked his truck on the sidewalk by the entrance to the station.  The patron claimed the truck blocked patron access to and from the station.  An off-duty San Francisco police officer arrived at the scene and separated the parties.  The employee wished to have the patron placed under citizen’s arrest for battery.  However, the employee's version of the incident was in stark contrast to the statements given by 3 others that witnessed the incident, and the patron was given a citation for disturbing the peace. 1109-0177 L12.

A station reported seeing two subjects exit the station, then return with two bikes.  The agent thought that was suspicious and told the males one bike was hers as they re-entered the station.  One of the males left a bike behind with the agent and both subjects went to the train platform.  An officer responded to the station to investigate the suspiciousness of the action, and contacted both subjects.   Both subjects were in possession of bolt cutters.  One suspect was on probation and he was arrested, and booked for possession of burglary tools and misappropriation of property.  The second suspect was arrested and cited for possession of burglary tools and misappropriation of property.

Officers responded to a report of a male cursing and frightening women aboard the train. They searched the train and determined that there was no ongoing disturbance. They contacted the female reporting party, who advised that she did not need assistance. The train was delayed for 10 minutes.

Two adult females, who are involved in a dating relationship, were involved in a verbal argument in a vehicle near the taxi zone at the station. During the argument, the suspect struck the victim several times with her fists. An officer arrived on scene and witnessed the attack and arrested the suspect. The suspect was booked for domestic violence and an emergency protective order was obtained for the victim. The victim did not require medical assistance.

6/24/11 - 1718 A call came out regarding a domestic dispute between a black male adult and female adult (former boyfriend and girlfriend). The female was in the agent’s booth and the male was outside the booth yelling at her. BART Officers arrived and determined that there was an argument only and the female did not want to press charges for the male for yelling at her. The male was determined to have a $10,000 warrant for trespass violation out of San Francisco. The male was booked at the Santa Rita Jail for the warrant. 1106- 3256 L20

An Officer was monitoring fare gates when he observed a subject fare evade to exit. He contacted the subject who provided a false name. The suspect resisted when the Officer attempted to obtain his identity and was arrested. A Sergeant responded to the scene. The subject was arrested for resisting, providing a false name, and refusing to sign a fare evasion citation. He was booked into the Santa Rita Jail.

An officer responded to the station on a report of a male suspect pushing patrons and creating a disturbance in the Dublin-side bus zone. The officer contacted and detained the suspect for assault. After further investigation, the officer concluded the suspect was delusional and a danger to others, and subsequently detained him for psychiatric evaluation. The detainee was transported to Valley Care Hospital by responding AMR personnel for medical clearance, and thereafter is slated to be transported to John George Psychiatric Pavilion for psychiatric evaluation.
