The victim parked his bike at 0830 hours and returned at 1745 hours to discover his bike was stolen. The victim parked and secured the bike (cable lock) to the bike racks on the Pleasanton side of the station. The victim estimated his loss at $150.00. The investigating officer requested station video.
A patron reported that their unknown brand silver 24-speed mountain bike was stolen from the racks in the paid area on the Pleasanton side between 1330 hours on 8/23/13 to 1915 hours today. The victim locked their bike to the racks with a cable lock.
A victim reported that he parked and locked their vehicle (a 2005 gray Volkswagen Jetta) in the Pleasanton side lot (stall 1858) on 08/23/13, at 1000 hours. The victim returned today at 0850 hours to find that his driver’s side window was smashed. The victim said that there was no loss and that the interior did not appear ransacked. The victim did not want his car processed for fingerprints. After taking the report, a second officer located two vehicles in the parking lot that were burglarized. The first vehicle (a 2009 silver Mazda 3) had its driver’s side window smashed and interior ransacked. The second vehicle (a 1995 white Ford Escort) had its passenger window smashed and interior ransacked. A victim reported two catalytic converters were taken from her 2003 silver Toyota Sequoia while it was parked in stall #2347 on the Pleasanton side of the station between 0930-1500 hours. The scene was processed for evidence.
A patron reported that their Stevens B622 21-speed mountain bike was stolen from the racks near the parking structure. The theft occurred between 8/11/13 at 1930 hours to 8/12/13 at 1600 hours. The victim secured their bike using a cable lock.
Officers responded to the station’s platform on the report of an intoxicated male suspect. On their arrival, the officers detained, evaluated, and determined the suspect was too intoxicated to care for his own safety; and placed him under arrest for public intoxication. A sergeant responded to approve the arrest and debrief the suspect. Shortly thereafter, the suspect was booked at the Alameda County Jail, Dublin, for public intoxication.

A system service worker reported to an officer that there was a subject who had been in the restroom for a long time and wanted his welfare checked. The officer contacted the subject and found that he had a $3000 no-cite warrant issued from of Oakland Police Department charging a narcotics violation. A sergeant responded to approve the arrest and debrief the suspect. The subject was transported and booked into the Alameda County Jail for his warrant.
A victim reported to an officer that their catalytic converter was stolen from their 1996 Toyota 4Runner while it was parked on the 6th floor of the parking structure, stall #918. The theft occurred today, between 0630 and 2015 hours.
A BART Officer responded and reported that a catalytic converter was stolen from a Toyota Sequoia parked in stall 1226. The victim left their vehicle on 7-31-13 at 0730 hours and returned to their vehicle at 1800 hours.

A victim reported that they locked their bicycle (a black/blue men’s Diamondback 15 speed mountain bicycle, unknown serial number) to the Dublin side bike racks on 06/28/13, at 1745 hours. The bicycle was secured with cable lock. The victim returned on 07/09/13, at 0430 hours, to find their bicycle gone. The estimated value of the bike is $325.
A victim parked their maroon 2001 Toyota Sequoia (5MET904) in stall #1166 (level 7) of the parking structure at the East Dublin Station. When they returned at 1645 hours, they discovered that someone had removed two catalytic converters (loss $4,100) from their vehicle. The officer processed the vehicle for prints but with negative results. It appears the suspect used a power saw to cut the exhaust pipe and remove the converters. Station video was requested. A woman subsequently reported that the catalytic converter had also been stolen off of her 2004 Toyota Sequoia today between 1119-1700 hrs. An anonymous patron reported a male (Middle Eastern, 25 years, no shirt, baggy pants) had his hands inside his pants and possibly was masturbating aboard a Dublin bound train. Officers intercepted the train and located the male. A records/warrant check revealed the male had a $40,000 arrest warrant issued by Fremont PD for Theft. Officers attempted to locate a victim but with negative results. A sergeant responded to the scene to approve the arrest and debriefed the male. The male was booked at Santa Rita jail on the warrant.
A victim made a phone report that her $500.00 black Specialized 26 inch 21 speed road bicycle was stolen while it was cable locked at the station between 0830-1830 hours.
An officer noticed an adult male known to have a stay away order at the station. The officer confirmed the status of the order and took the male into custody for the violation. The male was booked into the Santa Rita Jail for violation of a court order.
A warrant check on a person who turned himself into officers at the station revealed an outstanding no-bail arrest warrant out of the California Department of Corrections for parole violation. The person was placed under arrest on the warrant. The arrest was approved by a sergeant.
