A victim reported that their blue 2005 Toyota Sienna was burglarized while parked in stall 2937, between 0720 to 1750 hours. The vehicle’s passenger door window was smashed to gain entry and the vehicle’s registration and insurance cards were taken. The investigating officer processed the vehicle for fingerprints and completed a report.
An officer responded to a call of a male creating a disturbance at the East Dublin station. The male refused to comply with verbal instructions, pushed past the officer and battered him. The officer used force to place him under arrest and he was booked at Santa Rita Jail for failure to identify himself and battery on an officer. The male was issued a prohibition order.
A victim reported her 1992 Honda Accord was stolen from stall #1388 at the East Dublin Station, between 0451-2023 hours. The officer conducted a search of the station for the Honda and located the Honda in stall #181. The Honda was running, the passenger window was down and the car was running. The officer processed the Honda for prints and located several partial prints. An officer completed an auto theft/recovery report.
A victim reported their brown 2002 Nissan Truck was broken into while parked in stall #2827 of the East Dublin Station, between 0645-1940 hours. Loss was a garage door opened and vehicle registration for the Nissan. The front passenger window was smashed to make entry into the truck. The victim declined to have the truck processed for prints.
A victim reported that their beige 2003 Chevrolet Malibu was burglarized while parked in the station’s permit-only lot between 0900 hours on 1/30/16 and 1323 hours on 2/1/16. The vehicle was entered by unknown means, its interior ransacked, but no items were taken. The vehicle’s ignition was damaged in an apparent attempt to steal the vehicle. The victim declined to allow the investigating officer to process the vehicle for fingerprints.
A victim reported the theft of their blue/red Specialized brand bicycle, valued at $1300.00, while it was cable locked at the station between 1300 and 2000 hours. An officer responded and completed a report.
A citizen called to report a male who had broken a window to enter a vehicle in the parking lot. Officers contacted the male suspect sleeping inside the victim vehicle. The suspect stated that he had nowhere to sleep, so he broke the window to enter the vehicle to find a warm place to sleep for the night. Nothing in the vehicle appeared to be disturbed and the suspect had no property from the vehicle. He was booked into the Santa Rita Jail for vandalism and trespassing.
A victim reported that they parked and locked their vehicle in the parking lot on 12/22/15 , at 1600 hours. They returned on 12/25/15 at 0200 hours to find their vehicle burglarized. The investigating officer processed the vehicle for fingerprints.
A victim reported the theft of their silver colored men’s Schwinn 18-speed bike, valued at $200.00, while it was cable locked in the paid area of the station between 0700 and 1510 hours. An officer responded and completed a report.
A victim reported the theft of their green 1999 Honda Civic while it was parked on the top floor of the parking structure, between 0815 and 1730 hours. An officer responded and completed a report.
A victim reported the theft of his green, men's 21 speed road bike, unknown model and make, from inside the station. The bike was taken sometime between 1800 hours on 12/19/15 and 1400 hours, today's date. The bike was secured with a cable and lock. The victim valued the bike at $200.
While on patrol, an officer observed and detained a subject for smoking in the station. A wants check revealed that the subject had a misdemeanor $10k warrant charging narcotics violation issued from this agency. Incident to arrest the officer located suspected methamphetamines and heroin. The subject was arrested and booked into the Santa Rita Jail for his warrant and for possession of narcotics.
A male was reported to be acting erratically in the station. He was throwing pamphlets and taking his clothing off. Responding officers located the man on the platform and determined he was a danger to himself. The man resisted being detained for evaluation, but was taken into custody after a short struggle. The man was transported by ambulance to Valley Care hospital for evaluation and treatment.
A patron reported that their unknown make/model 21-speed mountain bike was stolen from the racks between 11/20/15 at 1800 hours to today at 2140 hours. The victim secured the bike with a cable lock.
A victim reported the theft of their 1999 Honda Accord’s catalytic converter while the vehicle was parked at the station between 0730 hours on 11/16/15 and 1930 hours on 11/17/15. An officer responded and completed a report.
A train operator reported that a male threatened to harm him while he was conducting his duties at the station. Officers contacted the male suspect and took him into custody after the train operator placed him under citizen's arrest for the threats. The male suspect was issued a prohibition order before being booked into the Santa Rita Jail for the threats charge.
While performing a bike theft sting at the station, a sergeant and officers observed a white male suspect approach a “bait” bike, which was secured to a paid area bike rack with a cable lock. The suspect cut the bike’s lock with a tool, took the bike and proceeded to platform level where he was arrested by officers. The suspect refused to talk about the theft and was then booked into the nearby county jail for burglary, grand theft and possession of burglary tools.
While performing a bike theft sting at the station, a sergeant and officers observed two white male suspects approach a “bait” bike, which was secured to a paid area bike rack with a cable lock. One of the suspects cut the bike’s lock with a tool as the second suspect posed as a look out. The two suspects then proceed to platform level, while in possession of the bike, where they were arrested by officers as they waited for an outbound train. The sergeant interviewed the suspects before they were booked into the nearby county jail for burglary, grand theft, possession of burglary tools and conspiracy.
A victim reported that they locked their Mongoose mountain bike at the station on November 7, 2015, at 1145 hours. The bicycle was secured with a cable lock. The victim returned at 1755 hours to find their bicycle gone. The estimated value of the bike is $100.
