An adult female patron who was sitting in a wheel chair, reported that an unidentified suspect (Black male, 502, light skin, dreads, black hoodie, blue jeans) came up behind her, took her purse from her and rode off on a bmx bicycle. The woman reported the purse contained 800.00 cash. An officer checked the area for the suspect, but with negative results. An officer canvassed the area for witness, but did not locate any witnesses. Video was requested and the investigation continues.
Officers were dispatched to the El Cerrito Del Norte Station for a report of an intoxicated female. Upon contact, officers determined that the female was intoxicated and unable to care for herself. Subject was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility to be booked for Public Intoxication.

A records check revealed a $10,000 warrant for burglary. A BART Officer contacted an adult female victim who reported her 1991 white Honda Civic, (2XIN492), was stolen from the del Norte parking lot. The victim said she parked her vehicle in stall #1603 about 1300 hours, and when she returned about 1830 hours, the vehicle was gone. (1207-1227). L21.
A BART Officer detained an adult male suspect after a BART employee observed him cutting the magnetic strips and gluing them on to other BART tickets. The officer was able to recover a pair of scissors, glue stick, tickets with glue on them and a bunch of other tickets from his person. The suspect was taken into custody. The employee gave a thorough statement with regards to their observation. The suspect was debriefed by the sergeant, and subsequently booked at the Martinez Detention Facility. 1207-1179 L14.

An officer contacted a suspect who was reportedly creating a disturbance on a Millbrae bound train. A records check showed the suspect as having a no bail misdemeanor warrant out of Concord PD for driving under the influence. The suspect was taken into custody on the warrant and debriefed by the Sergeant. Medical was requested for the suspect who claimed he had difficulty breathing. Once medically cleared, the suspect will be booked into the Martinez Jail on the warrant.
A patron reported their blue 1991 Honda Civic was stolen between 1730-2040 hours.
Officers responded to the station on a report of a man lying on the ground in the bus zone bleeding from the head and ear. Upon the arrival of officers and medical personnel, the man was conscious and spoke briefly to the police before being transported to Highland Hospital in Oakland. There were no immediate witnesses or possible suspect information. Officers were unable to a statement from the man. An evidence technician responded to the hospital to take photos and will retrieve video footage of the station at the time of the incident. Detectives were also notified.

An officer contacted a subject at the station for fare evasion. A records check revealed that the subject had a valid stay away order from all BART stations. The subject was placed under arrest for violation of a court order and booked into the Martinez Detention Facility. Prior to booking, the subject was debriefed by the sergeant.
Victim had his black and white Schwinn 7 speed mountain bicycle, unknown model or serial numbers, taken from the bike racks between 0900 and 1900 hours. The bike was locked with a U-lock and a chain lock.
A patron reported that her black 4s iPhone with a red and white “Coca-Cola” case was snatched out of her hand by another person while she was sitting in the bus zone. The victim said the suspect fled toward East Shore and Potrero Streets. Video hotline notified.
An officer detained a male suspect for fare evasion. Record checks revealed the male had two outstanding warrants. The first was a no-bail warrant held by San Francisco PD for 11351 H&S. The second was held by BART PD for 481.1 PC, with a bail of $2,500. A sergeant responded to approve the arrest and debrief the suspect. The suspect was also in possession of scissors, zero-value tickets, glue and other tools used to manufacture counterfeit BART tickets. The suspect was to have been booked at Martinez Jail for his outstanding warrants and possession of counterfeit tickets. However, the suspect claimed to be having chest pains and was transported to a local hospital. Medical staff told the arresting officer that the suspect could be in the hospital from one to five days. The suspect was then released per 849(b) PC on the 481 PC charge. A complaint will be sought through the DA’s office. The two outstanding warrants were reactivated.
An officer contacted an adult male who had been approaching patrons near the ticket vendors. A records check revealed an outstanding $10,000 warrant for failure to register as a sex offender. A search incident to arrest for the warrant revealed that he was in possession of a small number of altered BART tickets, glue and scissors. Detectives were unavailable to respond due to other on-going cases, so the zone sergeant tried to interview the suspect, but he refused to give a statement or provide any information regarding BART related crimes. He was also found to be in possession of a crack pipe. He was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility for the warrant, altering BART tickets and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers responded to the #2 platform to investigate a report of a male exposing himself. They contacted a victim who pointed out a suspect . She stated the suspect had removed his penis from his pants and urinated on the seats and floor. The suspect then left his penis exposed for several minutes waving it around. The victim placed the suspect under Citizens Arrest for Indecent Exposure and Urinating on a Public Transit Vehicle. The suspect, who has many BART Police contacts, had no prior Indecent Exposure arrests. He is currently on probation for Battery and Public Intoxication. He was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility.
A female reported her ex-boyfriend, who has been repeatedly stalking and threatening her, was currently at her vehicle in the parking structure at the station. The victim was willing to make a citizen’s arrest on her ex-boyfriend. An Emergency Protective Order was issued by a judge, and officers went to the suspect's residence to serve it. Upon serving the order, the suspect was placed under arrest for stalking. Detectives notified. 1204-3717 L12.
A person detained for fare evasion by an officer revealed three outstanding arrest warrants: a $3,000 misdemeanor warrant out of San Francisco for burglary, a $1500 warrant out of Alameda County for failure to appear in court, and a $695 warrant out of BART for failure to appear in court. A patron responded to the Del Norte station to reclaim an iPad that had been turned into lost and found. On arrival, the station agent told the rightful owner that he had just released the iPad to a person who had arrived at the station claiming to be the person who lost the iPad. Officers responded and were able to identify the person who had wrongfully claimed ownership of the iPad. Additionally, the officers were able to use GPS tracking to locate the iPad at an address in Richmond. The officers responded to the address and located the suspect who initially denied possession of the iPad, but then admitted to having taken the item. The iPad was recovered and returned to the owner and the suspect was cited and released for misappropriation of lost property.

A patron reported being struck by a vehicle (possibly a yellow cab) while crossing the street between the parking structure and station agent’s booth. The vehicle did not stop and fled the scene. The subject did not complain of pain, but was transported to Kaiser Hospital in Richmond as a precaution. Detectives were notified and the investigation is on-going at this time.
