The victim reported the theft of miscellaneous clothing from the interior of their vehicle while it was parked on the first floor of the parking structure, stall #314, today, between the hours of 0525-1500. Entry was made via an open driver's door.
A patron reported to the station agent that a Hispanic male, unknown age, slim, wearing a white jacket, and black or blue jeans, had possibly stolen a phone from a female victim on platform #2. As this was happening, a witness, who attempted to intervene and come to the aid of the victim, was challenged by the suspect who brandished a kitchen knife. The witness backed off and followed the suspect out of the station. The suspect returned to the station as the witness followed. The witness flagged down two officers who eventually detained the suspect inside the station. The original victim of the theft could not be located and officers were unable to determine if there had been a theft. However, the witness, positively identified the suspect as the one who had brandished a knife. The witness declined to press charges against the suspect for the brandishing. The suspect was placed under arrest for possession of a dirk or dagger, and transported to the Martinez jail where he was booked for the offense. TSOC was notified.
Patrons reported a suspect who was at the station brandishing a screwdriver in a threatening manner. Officers responded and determined that the suspect was a danger to himself and others and needed to be placed on a 72-hour hold for a psychiatric evaluation. The suspect was transported to Contra Costa Regional Medical Center by ambulance.

A male suspect detained for traffic and littering violations by a sergeant refused to identify himself. When directed to step out of his vehicle, the suspect refused to do so while being verbally uncooperative as well. BART and El Cerrito Police officers responded to assist the sergeant, and the suspect voluntarily stepped out of the vehicle a short time later. He was then placed under arrest for resisting arrest/delaying police and for possessing more than one ounce of suspected Marijuana; his driving privilege was also found to be suspended/revoked. The suspect was then booked into the county jail for resisting/delaying police and narcotics possession. No use of force occurred.

A victim reported the theft of their unknown brand blue beach cruiser bike. It was secured to the bike rack with a rope lock at 0655 hours and when the victim returned at 1745 hours, the bike and lock were gone.
The mother of a 12 year old victim called to report that her son was robbed at gunpoint, about 20 minutes earlier. The suspect brandished a gun at the victim and forced him part-way down the stairs leading to the concourse, where he took the victim's wallet from his pocket. When the suspect demanded the victim's backpack, the victim refused and shoved the suspect, before running to the bus zone, where he boarded a waiting bus. It is not known where the suspect went after the offense. Responding officers checked the area for the suspect, but were unable to locate him. The suspect was described as a black male in his 20's, wearing all black clothing and white Jordan basketball shoes.
Officers were dispatched to check on a male who was reportedly cutting himself on a train. Officers contacted the male on the train and determined that he had a $7,000 "no cite" narcotics warrant for his arrest. It was determined that he was scraping at his leg, but not cutting himself, so he was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for the warrant.
