An officer was dispatched to check on two teens possibly engaged in narcotics activity in the lower level of the parking structure. He contacted a male and a female and a records check revealed a no bail juvenile warrant for the female. The female was also in possession of marijuana. The female was booked into the San Mateo County Juvenile Hall for the warrant and cited for possession of marijuana.
A patron on board a Daly City bound train, reported a suspect, described as a Black male in his 40's, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and unknown colored sweatpants, who appeared to be intoxicated. The train was held at the Daly City Station where an officer located the suspect. The officer determined the suspect was too intoxicated to care for himself and placed him under arrest. The suspect was subsequently booked into the SF County Jail for public intoxication. A sergeant approved the arrest.
As of 2310 hours, 13 vehicles were found burglarized at the Daly City Station, between 0730 to 1748 hours. 12 vehicles were parked on the top level of the parking structure and 1 vehicle was located on the first level of the parking structure. A victim called to report that his rear window was smashed while parked on the second level of the parking structure between 0100-0630 hours. The suspect did not enter the vehicle, but reached in and took a small bag of toiletries.
A victim reported that their vehicle was burglarized while parked on the first level of the parking structure between 0800-1845 hours on 10/21. It is unknown how entry was made (no damage), but $50 cash, a Great America season pass and a make-up kit were taken.
A victim reported that their 2005 Acura TSX was burglarized while parked in the second level of the parking structure between 1015 to 1740 hours. As a result of the burglary, the victim reported the loss of $200 worth of clothing. The investigating officer was unable to determine the method of entry, but processed the vehicle for fingerprints and completed a report.
A patron reported that their white 1997 Toyota Avalon was burglarized while parked on the top level of the parking structure, between 1230-2300 hours. An unknown suspect gained entry by smashing the passenger window and stole the in-dash stereo.
A BART employee reported that their Ford work van was burglarized while parked on the 2nd level of the parking structure, between 1530-2030 hours. An unknown suspect gained entry by prying the passenger door lock. The suspect stole tools and a BART portable radio.
A victim reported that they parked and locked their1999 Honda Accord in stall 3046 today, at 0638 hours. They returned 1608 hours to find their driver’s side door tampered with and vehicle burglarized. The victim did not wish to have their vehicle processed for evidence.
While on patrol, an officer located a 2014 Honda Civic with its front passenger window smashed and interior ransacked. The loss is unknown at this time. The officer attempted to contact the registered owner with negative results. A note was left with the vehicle and it was processed for fingerprints.
A victim reported that their silver 2002 Honda Civic was burglarized while parked at the station between 0845 and 1502 hours. An officer responded and determined the vehicle had been entered by unknown means and the trunk unlocked. The victim reported that as a result of the burglary, $500 worth of miscellaneous items and clothing were taken. The officer processed the vehicle for fingerprints but was unable to locate any usable prints.
A patron reported that their white 2002 Honda Civic was burglarized while parked on the second level of the parking structure, between 1618-2025 hours. An unknown suspect gained entry by cheating the driver's door lock and stole an iPad, the in-dash stereo unit and some clothing.
A patron reported that their gray 2006 Nissan Altima was burglarized while parked in stall #862 in the parking structure, between 1330-2320 hours. An unknown suspect smashed both the right and left front windows to gain entry and ransacked the interior. The victim could not establish any loss.
An officer discovered a vehicle with both the driver's and passenger's side window smashed. The interior of the vehicle was ransacked. The officer attempted to locate a phone number for the owner, but was unsuccessful, so he left a note for the owner to contact us upon their return.
