Officers on duty at the Coliseum station received information that the Oakland Police were looking for an adult male and an adult female who were involved in a robbery in the area of the Oakland Coliseum. Acting on a tip from a citizen, the officers attempted to approach two subjects who matched the description of the outstanding suspects. The subjects fled but were apprehended after a foot chase. Officers saw the male toss a gun (later recovered) over a fence. The suspects and weapon were turned over to the Oakland Police.
Officers responded to Coliseum BART station on the report of a large group of juveniles fighting. Upon arriving, officers discovered that during the fight a man had been beaten and robbed of his cell phone and $200 in cash. Officers, with previous knowledge that a parolee-at-large was frequenting the Coliseum Station area, conducted a search of the area surrounding the station and located the subject who was arrested and booked on the parole violation warrant without incident.
A twenty seven year old Hayward resident was shot multiple times by an unknown assailant as he waited for the arrival of a niece and nephew in the station's parking lot. The suspect, described as a male in his 20's, was seen fleeing on foot. The victim was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition. Investigators are trying to establish a motive for the shooting.
A patron was approached in the parking lot by a male in his twenties who was armed with a handgun and demanded money. The suspect was possibly in the company of two other males who stood near a newer model four door sedan, blue in color (no further description). All subjects and the possible suspect vehicle were gone when officers arrived. There was no loss.

An officer observed two male juveniles on the north end of the station platform. The officer observed one of the juveniles point what appeared to be a firearm at the second juvenile, then place the firearm in his waistband. The officer detained the juveniles and found both of them in possession of Air-soft (BB) handguns. The firearms were confiscated, and both juveniles were issued citations and released.
Officers escorted an adult male off a Richmond bound train at the Coliseum station after patrons reported that he was drinking in public. Officers determined the suspect had multiple warrants for his arrest. The suspect was booked at Santa Rita Jail. 0612-1504 L21.

Officers responding to a report of an automobile burglary in progress arrested an adult male who was in the process of attempting to remove a stereo from a car he'd broken into. Recovered from the suspect and at the scene were burglar tools the suspect had used to gain entry. The suspect was booked into county jail.
A male juvenile victim was leaving Coliseum station and walking through the parking lot when he was accosted by two males 16-20 years old. The suspects threw the victim to the ground and began punching him. The suspects fled on foot after taking the victim's wallet and cellphone.
