A subject discharged a round from a shotgun in the parking lot as a large group of unruly Coliseum event-goers traversed the area. The suspect was chased down and apprehended three blocks away and the weapon was recovered.
BART Police Officers made a traffic stop at the Coliseum Station and discovered the driver to be under the influence of alcohol. While booking the suspect at the Glen Dyer jail, officers found heroin on the suspects person. The driver was booked on those charges plus driving with a suspended license.
Officers intercepted a Richmond bound train at Coliseum Station. A subject selling jewelry on-board, had reportedly dropped a large knife and was carrying it concealed under his jacket. Officers located the suspect, confiscated the knife, then arrested and booked him.
A subject thought to be involved in an earlier report of lewd conduct was subsequently arrested and booked on an outstanding no-bail felony drug violation warrant. The arrestee was not connected with the lewd conduct case.
An adult male suspect approached a patron from behind in the tunnel leading from the parking lot to the station, and attempted to steal his computer case. The victim struggled to keep ahold of the case, when another patron came to his aid and wrestled the suspect to the ground. Officers arrived and arrested the suspect for attempted robbery.
A patron was standing at the AirBART bus stop holding a laptop, when a robbery suspect tried to pull it from his grasp. The victim managed to hold onto the laptop, but the suspect punched his face, causing a laceration. The suspect ran from the station and was GOA/UTL. The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment.
A woman was walking in the parking lot when a suspect attacked her from behind and attempted to take her purse. The victim held onto her purse and ran toward the station, with the suspect chasing her. A patron drove his vehicle toward them and the suspect ran off, into the neighborhood. A male patron was walking through the pedestrian tunnel when he was accosted by a pair of robbery suspects. The victim ran toward the parking lot, where he observed a BPD K-9 officer. The officer located the suspects and placed them into custody. One of the suspects also had a 'no bail' domestic violence warrant. The suspects were arrested and booked.
Officers responded to a report of an auto burglary in progress in the parking lot. A perimeter was established and a subsequent search of the lot revealed a victim vehicle, but the suspect, an adult male, was able to flee the scene.
