An officer observed a vehicle driving erratically on NB 280 and he initiated a traffic stop to investigate possible DUI. The vehicle stopped at the Eastmoor off-ramp. Record checks showed that the suspect had an outstanding $25,000 arrest warrant for possession of narcotics, held by Santa Clara PD. The officers determined that the suspect was not driving under the influence, but he was arrested for his warrant. The suspect was booked at the San Mateo County Jail.
A victim reported that they locked their Warfar cruising bicycle at the station today at 0630 hours. The bicycle was secured with chain and combo lock. The victim returned at 1700 hours to find their bicycle gone. The estimated value of the bike is $109.
A victim reported their 2003 Toyota Tundra truck was broken into while parked at the Colma Station. The victim parked in stall #4196 at 0745 hours and returned at 2130 hours. The driver's window was smashed and the interior of the truck was searched but no loss was reported. An officer recovered a print from the truck.
An officer was dispatched to conduct a welfare check on a male in the parking structure. A records check revealed a no bail probation violation warrant and a $25,000 warrant for theft. The male was booked into the Redwood City Jail for the warrants.
While on patrol, an officer made contact with a subject who was on platform 3, which was a closed platform. The officer made contact with the subject who then tried to fare evade to exit the station. The suspect resisted arrest and the officer had to use physical force to detain her. An off-duty SFPD officer was present and assisted in the arrest. A sergeant responded to approve the arrest and conduct a use of force investigation. The suspect was transported and booked into the Redwood City Jail for resisting arrest.
A CSO located a vehicle (2002 Subaru Forester) with its right rear window smashed and interior ransacked. The loss is unknown at the time. An officer processed the vehicle for fingerprints. The officer attempted to locate the registered owner with negative results.
A victim reported that their gray 2012 Subaru Outback was burglarized while parked on the first level of the parking structure, stall 1262, between 0600 hours on 7/10/15 and 2200 hours on 7/12/15. The vehicle’s rear passenger wing window was shattered to gain entry, but no items were taken. The investigating officer processed the vehicle for fingerprints and prepared a report.
A victim reported the theft of their red 1995 Nissan truck while it was parked in the 4th level of the parking structure, stall #4095, between 0750 and 1820 hours. An officer responded and completed a report.
A victim reported their 4 door 2002 Ford F-150 was burglarized while parked at the Colma Station. The victim parked the truck in stall #2237 on 5/3/15, at 1100 hours. He returned on 5/4/15, at 1630 hours to discover his vehicle had been entered. Loss was a high school ring valued at $500.00. The suspect attempted to steal the vehicle and damage to the ignition, causing $500.00 damage to the truck's ignition. The vehicle was processed for prints with negative results.
A victim (M. Harvey) reported her 2009 Ford Ranger XLT was burglarized while it was parked and locked on the 4th level of the parking structure between 0715-1900 hours. The passenger door was comprised, and $10.00 was taken from inside the vehicle. Officer Ed Del Rosario processed the vehicle for prints but no prints were located.
A victim reported that they parked and locked their vehicle (a 1993 Toyota truck) in the parking lot today, at 0730 hours. They returned at 1955 hours to find their rear window smashed, front passenger door damaged, and money missing from the ashtray. The victim declined to have his vehicle processed for fingerprints.
While on patrol, a sergeant conducted a welfare check on an individual. A wants check revealed that the subject had a felony no bail warrant charging sex crimes issued from the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office. The subject was eventually arrested and booked into the Redwood Jail for his warrant.
A victim reported that they locked their bicycle (a men’s – blue - Cascade DBX brand mountain bike) to the bike racks on 1/2/15 at 0930 hours. The bicycle was secured with a combination chain lock. The victim returned on 1/5/15 at 1100 hours to find their bicycle gone. The estimated value of the bike is $500. An officer took the report.
