Officers contacted a male for loitering in a known drug area. The male attempted to hide narcotics and was detained. The male was searched and a narcotics violation was discovered. The male was booked into the county jail.

A patron reported that her laptop computer was snatched by a suspect while on the platform. The suspect was described as a black male, 18-21 years old, wearing dark clothing, in the company of several other suspects. Responding officers did not locate the suspects in the area.
A female victim reported when she was off-boarding a train at Civic Center her gold IPhone 7 was grabbed from her hands. The suspect was described as a black male in his 20-30’s who was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black pants, white tennis shoes, and a white/black camouflage backpack. The suspect fled topside out of the station in an unknown direction. The victim was unable to provide a serial number and the phone was turned off so it could not be tracked. The suspect was unable to be located and an officer took the report.
Critical Asset Patrol Officers conducting a surveillance for drug activity contacted a female who was seen smoking suspected crack in the station. The female was found to be in possession of a small amount of crack cocaine and a crack pipe. She was also found to have three $20,000 warrants for her arrest (for theft, disturbing the peace and driving on a suspended license). She was issued a citation for the drug charges and booked into the San Francisco County Jail for the warrants.
Critical Asset Patrol Team officers were conducting a high visibility operation at the Civic Center station when they were dispatched to drug activity occurring near the bicycle racks. They responded to the area and were directed to a group by a patron in the area. The officers detained three people and one male subject had a no bail misdemeanor warrant out of Alameda County for theft. During a search incident to arrest, the officers located a loaded syringe of suspected heroine, drug paraphernalia, and burglary tools. The suspect was booked into San Francisco County jail for his violations and warrant. The other two people detained were released.
A group of four males were reportedly involved in an argument on the platform which escalated into a physical fight. One of the male suspects displayed a knife and made stabbing motions toward the victim. The victim was not injured. When officers arrived, the four males were detained. The suspect armed with the knife was placed under arrest for assault with a deadly weapon and booked into the SF Jail. The two other male suspects were identified and issued citations for battery, and released. Although the victim provided a statement to the officers, he was less than cooperative and left the scene. The three suspects were all issued prohibition orders. TSOC was notified.
The victim was seated on a train headed towards the East Bay when the suspect, described by a witness, as a Black male, 20’s, 5’08”, medium build, wearing a black sweater, snatched the victim’s black iPhone 7 in a pink case from her hand and fled from the train. The victim was unable to identify the suspect and was not injured. The phone was unable to be tracked. Train car video will be requested.

Officers stopped a male for fare evading through the emergency gate to enter the Civic Center Station. A records check showed the male had 5 arrest warrants 80K. The male was placed under arrest on the warrants and was cited for fare evasion.
Officers noticed two individuals at the end of the platform in an area known for drug use. They made contact and determined that both people had warrants for their arrest. One had two $10,000 warrants for drug possession and embezzlement and the other had a $25,000 warrant for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Both were taken into custody and one was found to be in possession of suspected crack cocaine and a pipe. They were both booked into the San Francisco County Jail for the warrants and the one for the possession charges as well.
A patron reported that they were robbed of their cell phone by a group of 5-6 juveniles. The primary suspect was described as a black female, wearing a pink hooded sweatshirt. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspects in the area.
The victim was aboard a San Francisco bound train when the suspect, described as a Black male, 5’04”, wearing a black hoodie and a black backpack, snatched the victim’s rose/gold colored iPhone 6s plus just as the train doors opened. The suspect fled from the train before the victim could off board. The victim’s phone was unable to be tracked because it had been turned off.
While aboard a train at the station, a female victim’s cell phone was snatched from her grasp by a male suspect who then ran from the train. The victim chased after the suspect, which in turn captured the attention of a sergeant and officers who were nearby. The sergeant and officers, with the assistance of a Good Samaritan, used physical force to take the suspect into custody. The victim’s phone was recovered and no injuries were sustained by the officers or victim. A lieutenant responded to perform the use of force investigation, and detectives were notified of the arrest. The suspect was subsequently booked into the county jail for grand theft.
Officers were conducting a security sweep of the Civic Center Station and contacted a male that was in possession of an open bottle of alcohol. The male threw they bottle down on the floor of the station. The officers attempted to de-escalate the situation as they attempted to obtain the males identity. The male refused to identify himself and struggled with the officers as they attempted to place him in handcuffs. Force was used to place the male into handcuffs. The male was booked for possession of an open container of alcohol, littering, and resisting arrest. A sergeant responded to conduct a use of force investigation.
An adult male suspect entered the station and stated to the reporting party (R/P), that he had planted two bombs inside the station and everybody should get out, before quickly walking away. The R/P felt the suspect, and the statement made, was very suspicious and reported it to the station agent. As a precaution, the station was evacuated for approximately one hour as BART PD and SFPD explosive detection K-9’s swept the station. No suspicious devices were located and the station was reopened. A short time later, SFPD officers detained the suspect, who matched the description initially provided by the R/P, near the station. The R/P and another witness positively identified the suspect. The suspect was placed under arrest on the above listed charges and booked into the SF County Jail. TSOC was notified and station video was requested.
