Officers stopped a male subject for narcotics activity at the Civic Center Station. The subject (Simon, Lamar, 47 y/o, San Francisco) attempted to flee on foot and had to be physically restrained. The subject was found to be in possession of suspected tar heroin and drug paraphernalia. The subject was arrested for possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, loitering in a public place for illegal drug activity and resisting/delaying a peace officer. The subject was booked at the San Francisco County Jail.
A patron reported she was slapped and her cell phone was taken aboard a Warm Springs Train at the Civic Center Station. The victim provided a suspect description. The suspect fled from the train before police arrived.
Officers on routine patrol saw a chronic offender in the station who was known to have an outstanding arrest warrant. The man was detained and record checks showed that he had a $5,000 arrest warrant for counterfeiting fare media, held by the San Francisco County Sheriff. The man was arrested and booked at the SF County Jail.
Officers detained a male for loitering in a drug area. Record checks showed that he had two outstanding arrest warrant, totaling $27,500, for possession of narcotics paraphernalia, held by the Marin County Sheriff's Office. The man was arrested and booked at the SF County Jail.
A male suspect was taken into custody after refusing to submit himself to a lawful detention. He was then booked into the county jail for resisting arrest and possessing narcotics' paraphernalia.
A witness reported that a male suspect battered a second adult male aboard a Daly City bound train. The victim, who sustained a minor facial injury, advised responding officers he was not battered. Officers were unable the potential suspect (black male wearing white headphones, white tennis shoes and a gray hoodie), whose description was provided by the witness. The victim was transported to the hospital as he was also intoxicated.
Two officers were conducting a patrol check of the 8th Street/Market Street stairwell due to high drug activity when they observed a Hispanic male subject holding a plastic sandwich bag. When the male subject saw the officers, he took off running topside. The officers chased after him and eventually located him nearby trying to change his clothing. The officers contacted him and found he was attempting to swallow individually packaged cocaine and heroin. After taking the male into custody, the officers located a fix blade knife concealed in his waistband. The male was transported and booked into San Francisco County jail. L15
Officers contacted a subject for smoking on BART property. Records check revealed the subject had two warrants for his arrest. He was reprimanded for the infraction and booked at jail for the warrants. An officer took the report.
Officers detained a male suspect for loitering in a drug area. The man had no identification and provided a false name. A search incident to arrest revealed a quantity of suspected cocaine, packaged for sale. The man was booked at the SF County jail, where fingerprint checks revealed his true identity. Record checks showed that the man had outstanding arrest warrants totaling $300,000, for narcotics, stolen property and weapons charges, held by SFPD. The man was issued a prohibition order.
Officers noticed a male smoking in the station and advised him that he could not smoke in the station. The male stopped smoking, but fare evaded into the system in front of the officers. When they contacted him, he resisted arrest and kicked at officers. A struggle to handcuff him ensued and during the struggle, he tried to punch an officer. A Taser was deployed to gain compliance and he was eventually handcuffed. Once medically cleared, he will be booked into the San Francisco County Jail for resisting arrest and threatening officers. No one was injured during the incident.
A male suspect detained by officers for reportedly creating a disturbance aboard a train was found to be in violation of a (BART) stay away order, in addition to being intoxicated. Officers placed the suspect under arrest for both violations and booked him into the county jail.
Officers detained a suspicious male and learned that he had two outstanding arrest warrants: $25,000 for theft, possession of stolen property and being under the influence of narcotics; and $5,000 for fraud, both held by Palo Alto PD. The man was arrested on his warrants and was booked at the SF County Jail.
Officers detained a male suspect for fare evasion. Record checks showed that the man had three outstanding arrest warrants: $125,000 for robbery, held by ACSO; $25,000 for narcotics violations, held by the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office; and $7,500 for narcotics violations, held by Newark PD. The man was arrested and booked at the SF County Jail.
Witnesses reported that a male was tagging an elevator door with a marker. Officers detained the male, but the witness declined to press charges. Record checks showed that the man had an outstanding no-bail arrest warrant for narcotics violations, held by BART PD. A search incident to arrest revealed a meth pipe on the man's person. The man was booked at the SF County Jail.
Officers responded to the report of a disturbance involving a BART employee and a male suspect. Approximately ten minutes later, police learned that the male suspect had swung a small camping axe at the employee, who was holding a screwdriver; the employee was not injured. Officers unsuccessfully searched for the suspect; and will request station video.
A female reported the theft of her Samsung Galaxy 6H cellular telephone from her purse while she was on the platform at Civic Center. The female did not see the person take her phone, however she stated she felt someone reaching into her purse and saw only one person in the area. The possible suspect was described as a Black male adult, 5’8” tall, weighing 200 pounds. The possible suspect was wearing a gray sweatshirt, gray t-shirt, black sweat pants, and a black beanie. The possible suspect boarded a Pittsburg/Bay Point bound train after being confronted by the victim’s husband. The loss was valued at $700.
The female victim reported that while aboard an East Bay bound train, a 50 year-black male snatched her iPhone 7 from her grasp and fled from the train shortly before it departed from the station. The victim, who was not injured, further described the suspect as wearing an oversized black jacket. An officer contacted the victim to take the report. The officer was unable to track the phone, but will request video.
The victim reported that while aboard a Daly City bound train, their iPhone 6s was snatched from their grasp by a black male teenager who then fled from the train shortly before it departed from the station. The victim, who was not injured, further described the suspect was wearing a blue puffy coat and blue jeans with white spots. Officers were unable to locate the suspect. An officer contacted the victim, took the report and will request video.
Officers detained a female for blocking free movement and the female provided false identifying information. Officers were finally able to confirm her identity and discovered that she had two $5,000 warrants for theft. The female was FI'd for the blocking violation and booked into the San Francisco County Jail for the false information and the warrants.
A victim reported that a male suspect (BM, 13-14 years old, 5'2", grey shirt) grabbed their iPhone 6 from their hand while on an airport bound train. The suspect ran out of the train at the Civic Center Station and was not located. The victim was not injured and the phone could not be tracked. Train/station video will be requested.
Officers observed two males enter a locked bike storage container and quickly exited when the officers approached them. The males were detained and a records check revealed the males had warrants and violated a court order. The males were booked into the county jail.
