A victim reported that a male suspect (BM, teens, white beanie) grabbed the victim's iPad and fled out of the train. The report was not made until 20-30 minutes after the crime occurred. The iPad could not be tracked. Video will be requested.
A victim reported that she was robbed by a suspect on the platform, at about 0910 hours. A black female suspect grabbed the victim from behind and went through her pockets, and then took her iPhone 7 from her hand and fled to the street. The victim did not see the suspect's face.
Officers were flagged down by the victim of a cell phone snatch, and saw the suspect running from the station. The officers pursued, but lost sight of the suspect for a few moments. They located the man inside a business a short distance away. The suspect had the victim's phone case, but the phone was missing. The victim identified the case. The suspect was arrested for theft from a person and was booked at juvenile hall.
Officers contacted an adult male for fare evasion. The male resisted arrest and had to be physically restrained. He was FI'd for fare evasion and booked into the San Francisco County Jail for resisting arrest.

The suspect told the victim to, "give me everything" as he referenced having a gun. Although no gun was seen, the victim gave the suspect approximately $40 in cash. The suspect fled to the platform. The victim was not injured and can identify the suspect. Station video was requested.
A male victim was in the platform elevator when a suspect entered the elevator and grabbed his cell phone from his hand. The suspect (BM, hoody) also struck the victim in the face with his knee. The victim was not injured and declined medical attention. The phone could not be tracked and the suspect was not located. Station video will be requested.
A sergeant and officers contacted a female subject who was apparently despondent. During their investigation, police personnel learned that a male suspect, later determined to be the female’s boyfriend, had battered the female. Officers placed the suspect under arrest for domestic violence and then learned that he was also wanted on a $25K narcotics warrant, held by Concord Police. The victim, who was not injured, was also found to have an outstanding $5K possession of stolen property warrant. Subsequently, the suspect was issued a prohibition order and booked into the county jail for domestic violence and the warrant, while the victim was issued a citation for her warrant.
The male victim reported that while aboard an SFO bound train at the station he was confronted by a black male adult, wearing oversized blue jeans, who threatened to shoot him while demanding money. The victim, who did not see the suspect in possession of a gun yet feared for his safety, handed over $300 in cash before the suspect fled in an unknown direction. The victim then reported the robbery to and officer at the San Francisco Airport station.
While cleaning a station stairwell, a BART employee was assaulted by a male suspect. The employee, who was not injured, then reported the incident to police and officers responded. The suspect, who remained at the station, was detained and eventually placed under citizen’s arrest for assaulting the employee; a wants/warrants check of the suspect also revealed a $5K vandalism warrant. The suspect was subsequently issued a prohibition order and booked into the county jail for assault and the outstanding warrant.

The station agent reported that a male suspect had just stabbed a female victim with a machete. SFPD and BART officers responded. The investigation determined that the assault took place in the hallway connecting the platform elevator to the concourse. The suspect stabbed or slashed two victims. One victim remained in the station, while the second victim and the suspect fled to the street. SFPD officers were were at the station exit immediately contacted the second victim and rendered aid the the victim in the station. The suspect was described as a black male, 30-40 years old, 5'10" tall, 200 pounds, wearing a green jacket and dark pants. The suspect was armed with a large machete-type blade. Because they were involved from the outset, SFPD took the lead in the investigation. The 7th & Market exit and platform elevator were closed to facilitate the crime scene investigation. There was no impact on train service.
A male juvenile grabbed an iPhone 6 from the hand of a female victim and then fled from the train. The victim followed and pointed the suspect out to other bystanders, who grabbed onto him as he tried to exit the station. The bystanders were able to restrain him until officers arrived and took him into custody. The victim was not injured and her phone was returned to her. She wished to pursue charges, so the male, who is on probation for robbery, was transported to juvenile hall to be booked for the theft.
Officer were on patrol and located a suspect that was wanted for rape by San Leandro PD. The male was detained, his identity was confirmed and was placed under arrest on San Leandro's warrant. San Leandro PD took custody of the suspect.
Officers detained a man for fare evasion. Record checks showed that the man had an outstanding $10,000 no-cite warrant for narcotics violations. The man was arrested on his warrant and booked at the SF County Jail.
Patrons at Powell Street Station reported a male suspect panhandling on the platform. The suspect boarded a Daly City train. An off-duty transportation supervisor told the man to stop, and the suspect pushed the employee, knocking her to the floor. The suspect got off the train at Civic Center and was detained in UN Plaza by responding officers. The supervisor made a positive identification and performed a citizen's arrest. The man was arrested for battery and was booked at the SF County Jail. He was issued a prohibition order prior to booking. The employee was transported to the hospital for treatment of shoulder pain.
A patron reported the theft of bike parts from a bicycle that was parked in the bike station between 12/2/16 at 18:00 and 12/5/16 at 08:00. An unknown suspect removed the bike's seat and brake parts. CCTV evidence was requested.
A female patron reported that she was attacked by two teenage female suspects, who felt that the victim had shown disrespect by walking between them. The suspects pushed the victim from behind, hit her in the head and knocked her to the ground. The first suspect was described as a black female, 5'8" tall, wearing a white shirt. The second suspect was only described as a black female. The suspects fled to the street and were not located. The victim was treated as the scene for head pain.
Officers arrested a male suspect at the station whom they recognized as having an active stay away order prohibiting him from entering BART property. The suspect was then booked into the county jail for the violation.

A victim reported that their gray Giant Escape brand bicycle, valued at $600.00, was stolen while left unlocked at the station between 1700 and 2030 hours. An officer contacted the victim and completed a report.
Officers on patrol observed a suspect tampering with something in the bike station area. The suspect was detained and the officers determined that the suspect had entered the station with the specific intent to commit a theft from the bike station. The suspect had been attempting to remove bike parts that were secured in the area. The suspect was arrested and booked for burglary, possession of burglary tools, and narcotic offenses.
