Officers noticed two individuals at the end of the platform in an area known for drug use. They made contact and determined that both people had warrants for their arrest. One had two $10,000 warrants for drug possession and embezzlement and the other had a $25,000 warrant for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Both were taken into custody and one was found to be in possession of suspected crack cocaine and a pipe. They were both booked into the San Francisco County Jail for the warrants and the one for the possession charges as well.
A patron reported that they were robbed of their cell phone by a group of 5-6 juveniles. The primary suspect was described as a black female, wearing a pink hooded sweatshirt. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspects in the area.
The victim was aboard a San Francisco bound train when the suspect, described as a Black male, 5’04”, wearing a black hoodie and a black backpack, snatched the victim’s rose/gold colored iPhone 6s plus just as the train doors opened. The suspect fled from the train before the victim could off board. The victim’s phone was unable to be tracked because it had been turned off.
While aboard a train at the station, a female victim’s cell phone was snatched from her grasp by a male suspect who then ran from the train. The victim chased after the suspect, which in turn captured the attention of a sergeant and officers who were nearby. The sergeant and officers, with the assistance of a Good Samaritan, used physical force to take the suspect into custody. The victim’s phone was recovered and no injuries were sustained by the officers or victim. A lieutenant responded to perform the use of force investigation, and detectives were notified of the arrest. The suspect was subsequently booked into the county jail for grand theft.
Officers were conducting a security sweep of the Civic Center Station and contacted a male that was in possession of an open bottle of alcohol. The male threw they bottle down on the floor of the station. The officers attempted to de-escalate the situation as they attempted to obtain the males identity. The male refused to identify himself and struggled with the officers as they attempted to place him in handcuffs. Force was used to place the male into handcuffs. The male was booked for possession of an open container of alcohol, littering, and resisting arrest. A sergeant responded to conduct a use of force investigation.
An adult male suspect entered the station and stated to the reporting party (R/P), that he had planted two bombs inside the station and everybody should get out, before quickly walking away. The R/P felt the suspect, and the statement made, was very suspicious and reported it to the station agent. As a precaution, the station was evacuated for approximately one hour as BART PD and SFPD explosive detection K-9’s swept the station. No suspicious devices were located and the station was reopened. A short time later, SFPD officers detained the suspect, who matched the description initially provided by the R/P, near the station. The R/P and another witness positively identified the suspect. The suspect was placed under arrest on the above listed charges and booked into the SF County Jail. TSOC was notified and station video was requested.
A female victim reported that a male suspect (BM, black hoodie) grabbed her iPhone from her hand and ran off of the train at the Civic Center Station. The victim was not injured and the phone could not be tracked. The suspect was not located, but video will be requested.
A sergeant conducting a directed enforcement detail for narcotics violations at Civic Center Station observed a suspect who was in possession of narcotics paraphernalia. The investigation revealed that the suspect was also in possession of suspected narcotics and was wanted on a no-bail arrest warrant. The suspect was arrested and booked.

Officers were conducting a special operation at the station and on-viewed a suspect holding a needle with a controlled substance. Officers discovered the suspect also had a $5k warrant for his arrest out of San Francisco for a drug violation. The suspect was arrested for the above listed charges and booked at the San Francisco County jail.
A victim reported her Apple iPhone 7 plus cell phone was taken from her backpack by a suspect who fled on foot and was unable to be located. An officer completed a theft report and requested video.

Officers were conducting a patrol check of the station when they observed a male subject smoking on the concourse level free area of the station towards the 7th Street end of the station. A records check of the subject revealed an active stay-away order out of Alameda County prohibiting him from being on all BART properties. The subject was booked into San Francisco County Jail #1 for his violation of the court order and reprimanded for smoking inside the station.
An Officer on-viewed a subject willfully blocking free movement. The suspect stood and began to urinate close to the officer’s vicinity. The suspect was then arrested for urinating in the system. During that time, a man with a gun call was broadcasted and the suspect began having a medical episode. The officers issued the suspect a citation for urinating in the system.
A sergeant contacted an adult male for fare evasion and discovered that he had a $5,000 no-cite assault warrant. The male was issued a warning citation for the fare evasion charge and booked into the San Francisco County Jail for the warrant.
Officers detained a male suspect who reportedly jumped on to the 16th Street station’s track way, returned to the platform and then boarded an East Bay bound train. A subsequent wants/warrants check of the suspect revealed an outstanding $5K misdemeanor narcotics warrant, held by Fremont Police, for his arrest. The suspect was placed under arrest for the warrant, and then booked into the county jail. No complaint was sought for the earlier trespassing report.
