A male subject on board a train between San Leandro and Castro Valley Stations sat across from a female passenger and began trying to get the woman's attention. He eventually put his hand down his pants and began manipulating his genitals while trying to get the woman to watch him. The male off-boarded at Castro Valley Station and the woman reported the incident. The male was located near the station and the victim made a positive identification. The male, who had prior convictions for indecent exposure and lewd conduct and was on probation for indecent exposure, was booked at Santa Rita Jail for probation violation and lewd act in public. He may also be connected to a prior case with similar circumstances (1011-3465).
An officer stopped and detained a subject for fare evasion to exit by piggy-backing. The suspect had a no bail, felony warrant (CDC) for parole violation(s). The suspect was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Santa Rita jail.

Suspect #1 was described as a White Male about 16 years old with dark hair. Suspect #2 was described as a White Male about 14 years old wearing dark clothes. The suspect vehicle was described as an older American model, dark and dirty with lots of stuff in the car. The victim was transported to hospital for treatment.
Officers responded to a report of a boyfriend and girlfriend arguing on the platform. Officers discovered that the female had been scratched by the male during the altercation. The male was booked at Santa Rita Jail for the battery and the female refused medical attention.
An adult male suspect was arrested after he inappropriately touched at least four female patrons in the free area of the station. Two of the victims placed the suspect under citizen's arrest and a third victim will be contacted as part of the follow-up investigation. Officers responded to the area of the Castro Valley BART station on a report from A/C Transit that a juvenile was carrying a firearm on board a bus. A sergeant assisted Alameda County Sheriffs' Deputies detain a group of juveniles who matched the description and narcotics were recovered from one of the suspects. No firearm was located.
While on a Daly City bound train leaving the Dublin Station, a female victim called dispatch to report a male suspect masturbating. The male was contacted by officers at the Castro Valley Station and identified by the victim as the responsible party. The victim placed the suspect under citizen's arrest and because he had a prior conviction for a similar offense, he was booked for felony indecent exposure at the Santa Rita Jail.
Allegedly, an adult male sitting in his car in the city of Castro Valley, was surrounded by numerous teenagers. One of the teens reached into the car, struggled with the victim, and took cash from the victim's lap. The suspect was located on the platform of CVS and was taken into custody. He was turned over to ACSO.

The officer chased, tackled and detained the resistive suspect. The suspect was on probation for auto theft and possession of narcotics, in possession of crystal amphetamines and burglary tools, and was booked.
Two young adult male suspects approached a 20 year old male victim on platform #2. One suspect placed his arm around the victim's neck while the second suspect grabbed the victim's messenger bag containing the victim's wallet, iphone and lap top. The incident was not immediately reported, and the suspects fled prior to the arrival of officers.
Officers responded to a report of an adult male disturbing others on a train holding at Castro Valley Station. Upon contact, the subject became uncooperative, took a swing at one of the officers and had to be physically subdued with the aid of a K9. The subject was booked for the above charges.
Two male juveniles waiting for a train on the Castro Valley station platform began to throw bottles at vehicles passing by on the freeway, shattering a car's windshield. The driver who was covered in glass was able to drive to the station and detain the suspects. The suspects admitted their involvement to officers. A patrol sergeant was flagged down by a citizen on Castro Valley Blvd. who reported spotting a suspected burglar from a case that occurred earlier in the day in the jurisdiction of the Alameda County Sheriff's Dept. The sergeant detained the suspect and turned him over to the Sheriff's Dept.
A male patron got into a taxi and was accosted by a female acquaintance of the driver. She got into the back seat with the passenger and made a lewd advance on him, grabbing his thigh and reaching for his crotch. The passenger jumped out of the cab and called police. The suspect was arrested and booked for the battery and an outstanding warrant.
A citizen approached an off-duty BPD officer (having known the officer previously) and advised the latter that he had found a pipe bomb at his residence that was left behind by a previous roommate. An off-duty BPD sergeant driving by the Castro Valley parking lot observed two suspicious subjects. He flagged down the on-duty sergeant and they contacted the two, now located by a burglarized vehicle. A search of the lot revealed another burglarized vehicle nearby. The suspects had also traveled to Dublin station, and a check of the lots there revealed three more burglarized vehicles. Both suspects were arrested and booked for burglary, possession of stolen property and outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants.
