A victim reported the theft of their 2002 Honda Accord’s catalytic converter while the vehicle was parked in the west lot, between 0900 and 1800 hours on 2/26/16. An officer made telephone contact with the victim and completed a report.
Officers responded to an e-alert regarding a male ingesting narcotics. The male was detained and placed under arrest for possession of narcotics and two warrants totaling 25K. Booked at Santa Rita Jail.
A female victim reported that she was pulled from her silver 2012 Mercedes ML 350 and forced to the ground at rifle point by two male suspects. The suspects took the woman's purse and fled in her vehicle in an unknown direction. The suspects were described only as two black males, 18-20 years old, wearing dark clothing. Responding officers were unable to locate the vehicle in the area. The crime information was shared with San Leandro PD and CHP.

A subsequent records check revealed the suspect had a no bail warrant for DUI and a $2,500 misdemeanor warrant for a Vehicle Code violation from San Ramon PD. Officers were dispatched to check on a report of a male and female involved in an altercation on a train at the station. An officer was able to locate the couple, who were involved in a verbal altercation. The officer was able to detain the male in handcuffs. The female then slapped the handcuffed male and she was then arrested. The male refused any medical attention and an emergency protective order. He was identified and released. The female was issued a prohibition order and booked into the Santa Rita Jail for domestic violence.
A male and a female couple detained by officers for fare evasion were found to have outstanding arrest warrants. The male’s warrant, for attempted murder, was held by Oakland Police while the female’s theft warrant ($20K bail) was held by Brentwood Police. Both suspects were placed under arrest for their individual warrants without incident. The male was transported to Oakland Police headquarters, per their investigator’s request, and released to their custody. The female, on the other hand, was booked into the county jail for her warrant. A sergeant responded and approved the arrests.
