A patron reported that their green 1995 Toyota Camry was burglarized while parked in stall #662. An unknown suspect forced the door lock to gain entry. The victim could not identify any loss. The vehicle ignition was damaged by the suspect.
A victim reported that her vehicle was entered via door lock cheat and miscellaneous personal items were taken. The crime happened between 1900 hours on 3/4 and 1000 hours on 3/5. The vehicle was processed for evidence.
During a consensual contact, an officer learned the male suspect was wanted for an outstanding $25K burglary/vandalism warrant, in addition to being in violation of a court-issued stay away order from BART property. Officers responded and contacted the victim, who reported that two black male suspects, 25-30 years old, approached him in the west lot of the station. One of the suspects struck the victim in the face with a semi-automatic pistol and stole the victim's cell phone. The victim suffered cuts to his mouth and was taken to Eden Hospital for treatment.

Officers located the male and was placed under arrest for public intoxication. A records check showed the male had arrest warrants and he was booked into jail.

The suspect provided several false names, but was finally identified. The woman was booked at Santa Rita Jail for resisting arrest and providing false information to a peace officer.
The victim was walking through the BART station parking lot toward the station when the victim looked over his shoulder and saw the suspect walking closely behind. The suspect, described as a Black male in his late teens, 5'09", medium build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt pulled up over his head, a white tank top t-shirt beneath the hoodie, and black Adidas sweat pants with three stripes down the leg, asked the victim why he was looking at him, just before grabbing the victim by the arm. When the victim tried to run, the suspect threw the suspect to the ground. Once on the ground, the suspect punched the victim about the head and face causing minor injuries. As the suspect was punching the victim, he said, "on shred, on shred." The suspect took the victim's black iPhone 5, and walked away. The victim believes "shred" was a reference to a local area gang. The victim declined medical attention and said that he can identify the suspect if seen again. The phone could not be tracked.
A sergeant responded to the station on a report of a disturbance regarding a female throwing water on a male. The sergeant located the female suspect who displayed objective symptoms of intoxication, and was placed under arrest. A records check of the suspect was clear. The victim declined to pursue a complaint for battery, so the suspect was booked into the Santa Rita Jail for public intoxication.

The suspect was located on the train that was holding, and the victims placed him under citizen's arrest. Record checks showed that the man had two outstanding arrest warrants for narcotics offenses, totaling $40,000 bail, held by the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. The man was arrested for battery and for his warrants. However, the man made statements that required he be psychologically evaluated. He was transported by ambulance to John George Pavilion for evaluation and treatment, and will be booked when medically cleared.
