A victim reported a male pulled out his penis and began masturbating at the Balboa Park Station. Officer arrived on-scene and contacted a male that match the description. The victim positively identified the male and placed him under citizen's arrest. A sergeant responded to approve the arrest. The male was booked at the San Francisco County Jail.
A victim reported that he was attacked with a knife at the Balboa Park Station. The victim stated he was attempting to charging his cell phone at the top of the stairs, but two males were already using the outlets. An argument started over the use of the outlets. The juvenile suspect produced a knife and cut the victim’s hand and stabbed him in the chest. As the juvenile stabbed the victim, the adult suspect took a small suitcase from the victim. SFPD officers were in the area and detained the suspects. The victim was able to identify the juvenile by sight and identified the adult by his clothing. The adult suspect also had blood on his shirt. The victim was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening wounds. A detective and a evidence tech were called to the scene. Officers are searching the area to locate the knife that was used. Case is under investigation and all notifications were made. Both suspects were issued prohibition orders. The juvenile was booked at the SF Youth Guidance Center and the adult was booked at the San Francisco County Jail.
Officers detained a male subject for fare evasion. During the detention the subject attempted to run away from the officers, who then physically subdued him. The subject was placed under arrest for resisting arrest, and a subsequent search of his person revealed he was in possession of a small amount of Marijuana. A sergeant responded to approve the arrest, debrief the subject and perform the use of force investigation. No injuries were sustained by the officers or the subject. However, as a precaution due to his age (17 years), the subject was medically cleared before being issued a citation for the listed crimes and released to his mother.

When the male saw the sergeant, he quickly ducked into the restroom. The sergeant had dispatch check to see if the male had any wants/warrants and discovered that he had a $5,000 warrant for petty theft. A patron on the Richmond bound train reported via Elerts that there was a suspect on the train who was brandishing a switchblade knife. The reporting party did not respond to requests for further information. Responding BART and San Francisco PD officers searched the train and located the reporting party and suspect. The investigation determined that the suspect had a small pocket knife in his possession, rather than a switchblade, and that no crime had been committed. The suspect was identified and released. The Richmond train was delayed about 13 minutes as a result of this incident.

A female victim reported that her iPhone 4 was snatched from her hand by a male suspect while she was on the platform. Both suspects fled toward Ocean Avenue. Officers responded to search the area and an officer located two possible suspects at Mission & Geneva Avenues. Both suspects were detained and the officer saw one of the suspects discard a phone in a nearby trash can. The victim and a witness positively identified both suspects as the persons who stole her phone. Both suspects were arrested and the victim's phone was recovered from the trash can. The on-call detective responded to Powell Street Station to interview the suspects. While being transported to Powell Street, one of the suspects became resistive and spat on a sergeant. The suspect was subdued after a brief struggle. Both suspects were booked at the San Francisco County Jail for grand theft, conspiracy, possession of stolen property, resisting arrest and battery on an officer.

Officers responded to a report of a man who was groping the buttocks of a female while on a train. Upon arrival, a man matching the description was detained and positively identified by a victim as the person who had grabbed her buttocks while they were sitting on the train. The male was placed under arrest for sexual battery and was issued a 30 day BART prohibition order. A sergeant arrived at the scene to approve the arrest.
A female victim reported that she was the victim of a sexual battery while on the Daly City train approaching Balboa Park Station. A male suspect sat next to the victim on the train and touched her thigh, arm and chest inappropriately while making sexual comments. The victim and suspect both got off the train and the victim reported the incident to the station agent. The suspect description was provided to San Francisco PD and they were able to detain the suspect at the station before BART officers could arrive. BART officers took over the investigation and the victim made a positive identification of the detainee as the person who battered her. She made a citizen's arrest of the man and he was arrested for sexual battery. The man was issued a prohibition order before being booked at the San Francisco County Jail.
A victim reported the theft of his black and white Diamondback 10-speed bicycle from the bike racks. The bike was secured with a chain lock at 0750 hours on 5/10 and when the victim returned at 0700 hours on 5/14, the bike and lock were gone.
