Officers contacted the male (Mathew Samson, 29 years, San Francisco) and discovered that he had a $10,000 warrant for narcotics and was in possession of burglary tools and drug paraphernalia. The officers did not locate any damage to any bikes or bike locks, so the male was booked into the San Francisco County Jail for the warrant and possession charges.

The victim fell onto the ground due to the struggle. The victim was not injured from the fall. The suspect fled upstairs and was unable to be located. The suspect was described as being a Black male adult, in his 20s, 5’09”, 120 pounds wearing red hooded sweatshirt.
