An adult male (Sylvester Stevenson, 60 years, Berkeley) was arrested for two outstanding warrants ($15,000 for theft and $10,000 for brandishing a weapon).
A patron reported that their green 1996 Honda Accord 4dr was stolen between 0810-1715 hours.
Officers responded to the Ashby Station regarding a male with a weapon. Upon their arrival they contacted Warren Sumlin (59 years old, Oakland), who was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.
Antoine Wagner (34 years old, Vallejo) was detained for causing a disturbance on a Millbrae train which was held at the Ashby Station. It was determined that Wagner was under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for his safety. Wagner was arrested for public intoxication. Wagner made threats to harm the arresting officer. He was additionally arrested for making criminal threats and booked at the Berkeley City Jail.
A victim made a phone report that his $400.00 Kona Paddywagon single speed gray/white bicycle was stolen while it was locked at the bike racks between 11/3/17 at 0730 and 11/5/17 at 2000 hours.
Donna Kendricks (55 years old, Oakland) was detained for causing a disturbance at the Ashby Flea Market. It was determined that Kendricks was intoxicated and unable to care for herself. Kendricks spat on one of the arresting officers. Kendricks was arrested for public intoxication and battery on a peace officer. Kendricks was issued a Prohibition Order and booked at the Santa Rita Jail.
A patron reported that their silver 2017 Lexus NX200 was burglarized between 0735-1745 hours. An unknown suspect smashed the passenger window to gain entry and stole sunglasses.
A victim reported the theft of their single gear bicycle (unknown make and model) from the Ashby Station on 9/18/17 between 0800 and 2030 hours. The bicycle was secured to the bike rack with a U-lock.
Officers responded to the Ashby Station to investigate a report of a battery. Christopher Lay (27 years old, Oakland) and his girlfriend were contacted at the corner of Ashby and Adeline. A records check of Lay revealed three active warrants (2 misdemeanor, 1 felony) for his arrest. Lay was arrested for the warrants and booked at the Berkeley City Jail. The battery investigation yielded negative results.
A male subject, later identified as Marlon Zamble (45 years old, Berkeley), was yelling at a patron who appeared to be frightened. An officer contacted Zamble and determined that he was unable to care for himself due to alcohol intoxication. Zamble was taken into custody and booked into the Berkeley Jail for public intoxication.
A victim reported the theft of their Marin Larkspur bicycle from the Ashby Station on 8/28/17 between 0815 and 1940 hours. The bicycle was secured to the bike rack with a U-lock.
A victim reported that they locked their Jamis Aurora bicycle at the Ashby Station on 8/23/17 at 0800 hours. The bicycle was secured to the bike rack with a U-lock. The victim returned on 8/24/17 at 2000 hours to find their bicycle gone.
A male victim reported that two male suspects (BMs, 20s, 58"-5'10", black clothing, one had shoulder length dreadlocks) came up behind him in the parking lot, knocked him down, punched and kicked him and took his backpack, wallet and watch. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of facial swelling, an abrasion on his head and pain in his fingers. The suspects were not located and are suspected of committing another similar robbery during the same time frame in the neighborhood nearby (report taken by Berkeley PD).
A victim reported the theft of their $1000 black Specialized Tarmac road bike from the Bike Link room. The bike was stolen on 8/3 between 0815-1300 hours.
A victim reported that they parked and locked their vehicle (1985 Honda Civic) in the parking lot on 7/24/17, at about 0830 hours. They returned on 7/24/17 at about 2030 hours to find their had been burglarized.
A male suspect approached an officer stating he possibly had a warrant. The male was found to have an outstanding $5,000, NO CITE warrant for Lewd Conduct out of the University of California, Berkeley. Witnesses reported an intoxicated male creating a disturbance at the station. An officer arrived and determined that the male was too intoxicated to care for himself, so he was booked into the Berkeley City Jail for public intoxication. No one wished to make a complaint for the original disturbance.

A victim reported that their vehicle was burglarized while parked in the lot. The front passenger side window was smashed to gain entry. A backpack and tablet were taken. The crime occurred between 1830-2227 hours. The vehicle was processed for evidence.

A victim reported that a male suspect (BM, 20s, green hoodie, saggy jeans, yellow and tan backpack) took his iPhone 7 from his hand and ran out of the train at the station. The phone was not able to be tracked, but three possible suspects were detained. The victim could not identify them as the responsible people. The victim was not injured and station/train video will be requested.
