A Critical Asset Patrol Officer contacted an adult male for fare evasion and discovered that the male had a $100,000 warrant for failure to register as a sex offender. The male was cited for the fare evasion and booked into the Glenn Dyer Jail for the warrant.
Officers responded to a report of a person disturbing and challenging other patrons. Upon detention, the subject became belligerent and threw a radio at one officer. The subject was taken into custody after a brief struggle for battery to an officer and resisting arrest. One officer suffered a minor injury to the foot, and was treated and released at the scene. The subject was deemed a danger to others and was transported to John George Psychiatric Facility for an evaluation prior to being booked. A sergeant arrived at the scene to approve the arrest and conduct the use of force report. The subject was also issued a 30 day BART prohibition order.
An officer was on patrol and observed a male fare evade by "piggy-backing" behind a paying customer to exit the 19th Street Station. The male was detained and a records/warrant check showed the male had a "no bail" warrant issued by the California Department of Corrections. The male was cited for fare evasion and booked at Santa Rita Jail on the warrant. A sergeant approved the arrest.

A victim reported his green $300.00 unknown brand 7-speed men’s bicycle was stolen while it was cable locked in the free area of the station, near the 19th/Broadway entrance, between 0800-1530 hours. An officer investigated the case.

While on patrol, officers observed and detained a male subject for fare evasion. At one point the subject resisted their detention and tried to walk away. A struggle ensued and the officers used physical force to take the subject into custody. The subject was arrested and booked into the North County Jail for resisting arrest. There were no injuries sustained by either the subject or the officers. A sergeant responded to approve the arrest and conduct a use of force investigation.
An officer detained a male suspect for fare evasion. Record checks showed that the man had a stay-away order from all BART stations. The man was arrested for violation of a court order and cited for fare evasion. He was booked at Glenn Dyer Jail.
A patron reported that their blue and white men's Trek Alpha 1000 bicycle was stolen from the racks between 1950 - 2135 hours. The victim secured the bike with a cable lock. When the victim returned, the bike and the lock were missing.
A female patron was robbed of her wallet while on on the concourse at the 17th Street end of the station. The male suspect grabbed the victim's wallet and fled toward Broadway. The suspect was described as a black male, 22-27 years old, with a dark complexion, 5'10" tall, wearing a red jacket with "USA" on it, and blue jeans. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspect in the area. The victim was not injured.

A female victim reported the theft of her mountain bike from the 19th Street Station. The victim parked her bike on 3/7/14 at 0900 hours and locked her bike to the bike rack using a cable lock. The victim returned on 3/10/14 at 1758 hours and discovered he bike was stolen. The loss was a grey 18 speed mountain bike (unknown model/brand and no serial numbers) worth $300.00. An officer responded and completed a theft report.
A BART Officer responded to investigate a report of an attempted robbery. The suspect tried to take the victim’s wallet from his shirt pocket. While enroute, the Agent at Coliseum advised that a person matching the suspect description was at the Coliseum Station. Officers responded to Coliseum and detained the suspect. The subsequent investigation resulted in the suspect being arrested for attempted robbery and a prohibition order was issued. A Sgt approved the arrest and debriefed the suspect. The suspect was booked into the Glynn Dyer Jail.

A station agent reported a male was attempting to purchase a ticket but was very intoxicated. The agent feared for the male's welfare. Officers responded to the station and determined the male was too intoxicated to care for himself. The male was placed under arrest for public intoxication and was booked at Glenn Dyer Jail.
Officers detained an adult male for fare evasion and discovered that he is on parole with a search clause. A search of his person revealed suspected methamphetamine. The male was also in possession of suspected burglary tools. The male was cited for fare evasion and booked into the Glenn Dyer Jail for possession of methamphetamine and burglary tools.
An off-duty San Francisco Police officer reported an adult male suspect in possession of a handgun while aboard a San Francisco bound train held at the station. BART officers responded and detained the suspect as he was pointed out by the off-duty officer. A loaded .45 Caliber handgun was located in the suspect’s waistband by the officers, who then placed him under arrest for possessing the loaded handgun. A search of the suspect, incident to the arrest, revealed he was also in possession of narcotics and items consistent with the sales of narcotics. A sergeant responded to approve the arrest, debrief the suspect and perform a use of force investigation. Detectives were called upon to assist the investigative portion of the arrest. Subsequently, the suspect was booked into the county jail for the following charges: Possessing a loaded and concealed firearm, possessing a firearm with obliterated serial numbers, possession of Marijuana and Heroin for sales, being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, possession of narcotics for sale with a previous narcotics possession conviction, and (narcotics) probation violation.
A station agent notified two officers that there was a male on the platform who was yelling at patrons. The officers observed the male on the closed circuit video monitor and he appeared to be yelling and going up to patrons. As the officers made contact with the male, he continued to yell at patrons on the train. As the officers tried to conduct a pat search, the male resisted their attempts and eventually was able to push one of the officers off of him and attempted to leave the area. One of the officers was able to activate his Taser, but the suspect continued to resist. The suspect was eventually handcuffed and taken to John George Pavilion for psychiatric evaluation. Once released, he will be booked for resisting arrest and battery on an officer and will be issued a prohibition order. One of the officers had pain to his wrist after the incident, but did not immediately seek medical attention.
An officer was monitoring the fare gates at the 19Th Street Station, when a male suspect jumped over the fare gates to exit the station. The officer attempted to stop the male but he ran from him. The male was detained outside the station after a short foot pursuit. A sergeant responded to approve the arrest. The male was cited for fare evasion and was booked for resisting arrest at the Glenn Dyer Jail.

A victim reported that they locked their bicycle (a custom blue men’s road bicycle, no model or serial number) to the bike racks on 1/24/14 at 0830 hours. The bicycle was secured with a cable-lock. The victim returned at 1830 hours to find their bicycle gone. The estimated value of the bike is $200.
