A patron reported a disturbance aboard a Millbrae train involving an adult male and a juvenile female. Officers located the female, obtained a description of the suspect and conducted an area search with negative results. The juvenile was transported to a local hospital and her parents were contacted. The train was delayed for 17 minutes while witness statements were collected.
Magaleh, Aymen(08/12/97,Oakland) was contacted at the 19th Street Station and arrested on the listed charges. Magleh was transported to Santa Rita Jail.
Passengers aboard an Antioch bound train car were sprayed with pepper spray by a suspect after they complained about the suspect smoking on the train. One person was transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The suspect fled from the station prior to arrival of the officers. The area was searched for the suspect but with negative results. Train and station video was requested.
At approximately 1439 Hours the SFO Airport bound train on platform #2 had to be stopped due to a medical emergency. Fire and medical units were dispatched to the station, along with BART Officers. Platform #2 of the station was closed until approximately 1615 Hours. Platforms 1 & 3 were initially allowed for trains to run through only. Platforms 1 & 3 were eventually opened for patrons while the incident train remained on Platform #2. The incident train and platform #2 were cleared from the station, and normal service was restored at 1615 hours.
