Officers responded and located the suspect, who was positively identified by the victims. The victim’s cell phone was recovered. The suspect was arrested for robbery and booked at the SF County Jail.

Witnesses reported that a male entered track #2 and walked toward 24th Street. Officers responded and located the man inside the tunnel on the track #1 side. The man was detained and ultimately transported to St. Luke's Hospital for psychiatric evaluation. Trains were delayed about 22 minutes as a result of this incident.

The victim was aboard a Richmond bound train approaching the Daly City Station when the suspect approached and asked the victim to call his phone. The suspect, a Black male, mid 20-‘s to early 30’s, muscular, 6’02”, started punching the victim in the head and face. The victim handed the suspect his black iPhone 6, and ran from the train as it stopped at the station. The suspect remained on the train as it departed the station. The suspect was not injured and could not identify the suspect. The phone could not be tracked. Train car video was requested.

The victim boarded a Daly City train at the Civic Center Station with his phone in his front pants pocket. The suspect, described as a Black male, 20-30 yrs, thin build, slight facial hair, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and gray Nike tennis shoes, was already aboard the train. During the train ride, the suspect bumped into the victim. When the victim off-boarded the train at the 16th St. Station, he noticed his phone was missing. The suspect remained on the train. The train was searched down the line by officers for the suspect with negative results. Loss was a black ZTE Zmax Pro phone in a clear case. The victim valued the phone at $598. Train car video is being requested and the victim was not injured.

She managed to hold onto her phone and the suspect fled the train. She stayed on and reported the crime at the next stop. She refused medical attention and had no visible injuries. Officers responded to a call for service at the station. While they were inside, unknown suspects smashed the front windshield of their patrol car. There are no suspects and no witnesses came forward. The vehicle had to be towed to the Oakland Shops for repair.

 Disturbing the Peace/Possession of Narcotics/Warrant Arrest

16th St. Mission - 1610-0494

Patrons reported that two males were involved in a dispute at Civic Center Station. The two men boarded a train and were detained at 16th Street Station. Officers determined that one of the males, who suffered a small cut to the back of his head, likely caused the injury to himself when he slipped going up the stairs. The second male was found to have two outstanding arrest warrants: $3,500 for theft from a person; and $2,500 for petty theft, both held by SFPD. A search incident to arrest revealed a small amount of suspected methamphetamine on the man's person. The male with the head injury was transported to SF General Hospital for treatment. The other man was arrested on his warrants and for possession of narcotics, and was booked at the SF County Jail.

A male patron reported that he set his cell phone next to him on a platform bench and saw a male suspect take the phone. The victim challenged the suspect and demanded the phone back. The suspect then punched the victim in the face. The suspect ultimately dropped the phone and boarded a train, leaving the station. The victim suffered cuts to his lip, but declined medical attention. The suspect was described as a black male, about 30 years old, 6'1" tall, 220 pounds, wearing a black & white hat, black jacket, red checkered shirt and black pants. The victim recovered the phone from the platform.

An adult male was the victim of an unprovoked attack while riding on a train between the 24th Street and 16th Street Stations. A group of three juveniles approached the victim from behind and one of the suspects struck the victim on the back of his neck with a fist or other hard object. The suspects then fled from the train and were not located. The suspects were described as four black males, 14-17 years old, all approximately 6 feet tall with a slim build, #1 wearing a red hoodie with blue shorts, #2 wearing an orange hoodie, #3 & 4 wearing dark clothing. Video evidence was requested. The victim was transported to SF General Hospital for treatment.
