Witnesses reported two males involved in a fight in the station. Responding officers arrested the aggressor (Kendricx MANANSALA, 24, Daly City) for assault with a deadly weapon, and possession of illegal weapons. The victim suffered bruises to his back. Manansala was issued a prohibition order and was booked at the SF County Jail.
A patron reported three males (1. Michael Hoffman, 29 years, Palo Alto, 2. Michael Godiel, 27 years, Chico, 3. Sean Hopkins, 24 years, Pacifica) acting suspicious on Dublin bound train. Officers intercepted the train and discovered two of the males were in possession of stolen property. Godiel and Hopkins had arrest warrants and were booked into jail on the listed charges.
Officers detained a male (Robert DAVIS, 48, San Francisco) for fare evasion. Record checks showed that Davis had an outstanding $50,000 arrest warrant for forgery and identity theft, held by SFPD. Davis was arrested on his warrant and was booked at the SF County Jail.
A victim reported that two suspects stole his phone while on the stairs leading to the station. The suspects, described as black males wearing dark hooded sweatshirts, fled on foot and were not located by responding officers.
A victim reported the theft of his red Specialized bike. The victim stated on 11/23/17 between 1350 - 1405 hours, he went to sleep on the platform and placed his bike next to him. While asleep, 2 male juveniles (no description) took his bike.
Patrons reported a male, Gregory Piere (56 years old), had thrown his bike on to the track way at the 16th Street BART Station and then jumped down onto the tracks. Piere left the station prior to the officers arriving and went to the plaza on the street level. Paramedics arrived to assist Piere, however he became upset and agitated. When officers tried to speak with Piere he began acting erractic and a struggle ensued. Piere was arrested for public intoxication, battery on an officer and resisting arrest. Piere was also issued a prohibition order. TSOC was notified.
Officers detained Lateef Harvell (41 years old, San Francisco) for fare evasion at the 16th Street BART Station. Harvell was arrested for an outstanding warrant and issued a citation for fare evasion.
Daune Walton (50 years old, San Francisco) was contacted for causing a disturbance at the 16th Street Station. Walton was arrested for a $25,000 misdemeanor warrant and booked at the San Francisco County Jail.
Witnesses reported a male in a physical dispute with a female on the platform. Officers responded and detained the male (Rudy MENA-PEREZ, 35, Oakland), who was subsequently arrested for domestic violence. Mena-Perez was issued a prohibition order and was booked at the SF County Jail.
Officers responded to check the welfare of a man (Andrew MARMELSTEIN, 23, San Francisco). Record checks showed that Marmelstein had an outstanding $25,000 arrest warrant for narcotics violations, held by the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office. Marmelstein was arrested on his warrant and was booked at the SF County Jail.
Patrons reported that a male suspect attempted to steal a victim’s hat, and then took a second victim’s cell phone, while on the street escalator at the 16th Street Station. Officers responded and located the suspect, who was positively identified by the victims. The victim’s cell phone was recovered. The suspect was arrested for robbery and booked at the SF County Jail.
Witnesses reported that a male entered track #2 and walked toward 24th Street. Officers responded and located the man inside the tunnel on the track #1 side. The man was detained and ultimately transported to St. Luke's Hospital for psychiatric evaluation. Trains were delayed about 22 minutes as a result of this incident.
A female victim reported that a male suspect (BM, 20s, 5'8", thin, green and black jacket) grabbed her phone out of her hand and fled from the train. The suspect was not located and the phone could not be tracked. The victim was not injured. Train/station video will be requested.
The victim was aboard a Richmond bound train approaching the Daly City Station when the suspect approached and asked the victim to call his phone. The suspect, a Black male, mid 20-‘s to early 30’s, muscular, 6’02”, started punching the victim in the head and face. The victim handed the suspect his black iPhone 6, and ran from the train as it stopped at the station. The suspect remained on the train as it departed the station. The suspect was not injured and could not identify the suspect. The phone could not be tracked. Train car video was requested.
