Officers responded to the 12th Street Station for a report of a male creating a disturbance by challenging patrons to fight. The male was located on a train that was holding on the platform. No one came forward to make a complaint for disturbing the peace. Officers determined the male was intoxicated and was not able to care for himself. He was placed under arrest for public intoxication and was booked at the Glenn Dyer Jail.

A victim contacted BART officers advising that a male suspect just tried to rob her of her purse. The officers searched the area and located and detained a possible suspect in the plaza area. The Oakland Police Department responded and took over the investigation.
A station agent requested police assistance with a group of subjects who were arguing over ownership of found property turned into the agent. An officer responded and contacted the only (female) subject who remained on scene at the time he arrived. This subject was identified as the property’s rightful owner but was also found to have an outstanding “no bail” battery warrant, held by Alameda County Juvenile Probation Services, for her arrest. The officer placed the subject under arrest for the warrant, and a sergeant responded to approve the arrest. The subject was then booked into the county jail for the warrant.

He was found to be a sex offender who had not registered as required. He was placed under citizen's arrest by the agent and booked into the Glenn Dyer Hail for the threats and violating the conditions of his sex offender registration. He was also issued a prohibition order.

Officers responded to the station on the report of a male suspect who, after fare evading into the station’s paid area, battered the female station agent with a handful of brochures. Officers detained the suspect at street level without incident, just above the station, and the station agent placed him under citizen's arrest for battering her. A sergeant responded to approve the arrest and perform the post arrest debrief. The suspect was then issued a prohibition order and booked into the county jail for battering the station agent, who was not injured.
Multiple patrons reported that a male suspect was pushing a female on the Pittsburg bound train. Officers detained both parties on the concourse. The investigation determined that the female punched the male. Record checks showed that the male had a restraining order preventing him from being with the female. The male adult was arrested for violation of a court order and was booked at Glenn Dyer Jail. The female juvenile was found to be a ward of the court, and was cited for misdemeanor domestic violence and was turned over to Child Protective Services.

A female victim reported that a male suspect (BM, 25 years, red baseball cap, dark jacket, blue jeans) grabbed her cellphone (which was sitting on top of her purse) and ran out of the train. The victim gave chase, but lost the suspect after he exited the station. Officers were not able to locate him and the phone was tracked, but not located. The victim was not injured. Train and station video will be requested.
A female reported she was aboard a Pittsburg bound train and her crotch was grabbed by a male subject as the train pulled into the 12th Street Station. The victim exited the train and the suspect stayed aboard. The train was checked at another station but the suspect was gone. The victim wished to pursue charges for battery if the suspect was located and reported she was not injured. The investigating officer is following up on this case.
Officers responded to the 12th Street Station for a report of a male and female fighting over a 2-3 year old child on the platform. Trains were held out of the station. The male suspect pushed the female and was placed under arrest for domestic battery and was issued a prohibition order. The female victim refused an emergency protection order but was supplied with victim resource information. Train service was delayed for 15 minutes.

Officers were dispatched to a report of a subject wandering in and out of the station, badgering patrons. The officers detained the subject in question and determined he was interfering with the duties of the station agent. The officers cited the subject for interfering with a public business establishment, but he refused to sign the citation. The subject was subsequently arrested and booked into the North County Jail.
Officers detained an adult male who told the station agent he wished to commit suicide. Officers soon determined the subject was in need of a psychiatric evaluation, so an ambulance was requested. While waiting for the ambulance officers learned there was an outstanding $30K narcotics warrant, held by BART Police, for the subject’s arrest. The subject was then transported to the county’s psychiatric pavilion, along with a police hold. Upon being cleared from the pavilion, the subject will be booked into the county jail for the outstanding warrant.
A male suspect snatched a female victim's iPhone 6 from her hand while on the train and fled of foot out the 11th Street exit to Broadway. The victim was not injured. The phone could not be tracked. The suspect was described as a black male in his 20's, 5'7" tall, wearing a dark hooded jacket and red pants. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the suspect in the area.
A patron reported an exposed male masturbating on the train. Officers intercepted the train at the Walnut Creek Station and contacted the suspect and witness. The witness identified the suspect and placed him under citizen's arrest. The suspect was issued a prohibition order and booked into the Santa Rita Jail for indecent exposure.
