Two officers contacted an adult male for fare evasion. The male tried to walk away and had to be physically restrained. He was found to be in possession of an unloaded 22 caliber pistol. The male was issued a prohibition order and a citation for fare evasion. He was booked into the Glenn Dyer Jail for being a felon in possession of a gun and resisting arrest. TSOC was notified of the firearm recovery (TSA-05-13234-16).

The male was determined to be on probation with a search clause. A search of him revealed a small amount of suspected methamphetamine and marijuana. He was also in possession of drug paraphernalia. The male was booked into the Glenn Dyer Jail for the possession charges.

A wants check revealed that one of the subjects had two warrants, the first was $15k warrant charging theft, the second was $25k charging lewd acts, both issued from Alameda County Sheriff’s Office. The female was also in possession of an expandable baton. The subject was arrested and booked into the Santa Rita Jail for her warrant and possession of a dangerous weapon.

A female victim reported that as the train pulled into the 12th Street Station, a male suspect (BM, red/blue beanie, ripped jeans, white tennis shoes) grabbed her purse and a struggle ensued. She was pulled off of the train as the suspect reached into the purse and took her wallet and cell phone. The suspect fled out of the station and was not located. The victim was not injured. The phone could not be tracked. Video will be requested.

A male was seen lying between the rails on track #3. Power was dropped and officers responded. The man had no visible injuries and officers determined that he had fallen onto the tracks due to his high level of intoxication. The man was transported to Summit Hospital for treatment of intoxication and a complaint of pain to his head. There was no significant delay in service as a result of this incident and no sign of foul play.

The suspect fled towards the Marriott Hotel once the elevator doors opened and fled the scene. The suspect was not located. The victim was not injured. Station video will be requested.

A male suspect detained by an officer for fare evasion was found to have a “no bail” parole violation warrant for his arrest, in addition to a stay away order barring him from BART property. The suspect was placed under arrest for the warrant and the stay away order violation without incident, but he then made suicidal statements in addition to complaining of a pre-existing injury. The suspect was then transported to a local hospital for medical attention. Once medically “cleared” he will be transported to the county’s mental health facility for a mental health evaluation; and upon being “cleared” from this facility, the suspect will be booked into the county jail.
