Patrons reported a male was provoking people and appeared to be mentally unstable at the 12th Street Station. The male was detained and was placed under citizen's arrest for battery. The male also received a prohibition order.
Officers performing a welfare check on a male suspect determined he was in violation of a stay away order, which prohibited his presence on BART property, and placed him under arrest. A search of the suspect then revealed he was in possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was then booked into the county jail.
A victim reported three suspects took her cell phone at the 12th Street Station. Officers responded and detained three juvenile suspects based on the victim's description. Two phones located on the suspects but were not the victims. The suspects claimed to have found the phones. A Sergeant and a detective responded as well. The juveniles were identified and were released to their parents.
A victim reported at 1948 hours, they were stabbed with a knife at the 12th Street Station. The victim was treated on-scene for non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

Officers detained multiple suspects possibly involved in a battery on a passenger while onboard a train. The victim positively identified the suspects and placed them under citizen’s arrest. Suspects involved in the battery were issued citations and issued prohibition orders. One suspect also attempted to rob the victim of her backpack. That suspect was arrested for attempt robbery and battery and taken to jail for the listed offenses and given a prohibition order. The sergeant responded to the scene and approved the arrest.
Victim reported being pushed from behind by an unknown Black male adult suspect at about 1045 hours. Officers did an area check for the suspect with negative results. Video requested. Officers took the report.
Two officers contacted a male subject for smoking inside the station on platform one. The officers determined the subject to be under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for himself. The subject was cited for smoking inside the station and was booked into North County Jail in Oakland for public intoxication.
Officer took a report from a female subject who advised a male subject has stolen her purse and pushed her onto the ground while she was walking inside the station. The victim described the suspect as a black male adult, approximately 20 years of age, 5’7” tall, wearing knit hat, a black shirt, white pants and a backpack. The victim sustained an injury to her head and was transported by paramedics to Oakland Kaiser for medical treatment. Although an area check for the suspect was conducted by responding officers, no suspect was located.

A records check revealed the suspect had two outstanding warrants held by San Mateo County, one for $125,000 for Robbery, and the second for $10,000 for burglary. An officer detained a male suspect for fare evasion. A subsequent records check revealed that the suspect had a valid prohibition order issued by BART PD, prohibiting him from being at BART. The suspect was placed under arrest, issued a fare evasion citation and then booked into the Glenn Dyer Jail for the prohibition order violation.
A female victim reported that a male suspect (BM,brown jacket, short hair) walked up behind her and grabbed her iPhone 6s Plus from her hand as she was walking up the stairs. The suspect then fled on foot towards the street level. The male was not located and the phone could not be tracked. The victim was not injured. Station video will be requested.
A male suspect detained for fare evasion by an officer was found to have an outstanding “no cite” $5K misdemeanor theft warrant, held by San Francisco Police, for his arrest. The suspect was placed under arrest for the warrant without incident, and then booked into the county jail.
A female victim reported that while on the escalator leading to the concourse level of the station, she dropped her gold-colored iPhone 6 which the black female suspect then picked up and refused to return. The victim then struggled for control of the phone, but the suspect managed to retain it and eventually fled out of the station. Officers responded but were unable to locate the suspect. An attempt to track the phone was also unsuccessful. The victim, who was not injured, further described the suspect as follows: 18-19 years of age; 5’4” tall; wearing a red jacket and blue jeans. Eventually they were able to confirm his identity and discovered that he had a $15,500 warrant for domestic violence. The male was issued a warning citation for fare evasion and booked into the Glenn Dyer Jail for providing false identifying information to an officer, a parole hold and the warrant.
An off-duty security guard reported that he was sitting on a bench on the platform, watching videos on his cell phone, with his green & black backpack on the bench beside him. He saw the pack move, looked up and saw a male suspect carrying it away. The suspect was described as a black male, 6' tall, with a skinny build, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt. The suspect fled from the station via the 14th Street exit. An area check for the suspect was unsuccessful. The victim reported that his .40 caliber Beretta pistol was inside the backpack when it was stolen. Oakland PD was advised of the theft.

He was also found to be riding without a ticket. The male was issued a citation for eating in the system and fare evasion before being booked into the Glenn Dyer Jail for providing false identifying information and possessing drug paraphernalia.
Officers were dispatched to a report of a female creating a disturbance on a train. Officers contacted the female and discovered that she had a $10,000 warrant for battery. No one wished to make a complaint for the original disturbance, so she was booked into the Santa Rita Jail for the warrant.
An officer was dispatched to a report of a battery victim at the hospital. Upon interviewing the victim, the victim reported that they were in the stairwell of the station at around 1940 hours when approached by a suspect who demanded his money. In fear, the victim ran downstairs, tripped, and fell, causing non-life-threatening injuries.
A victim reported her iPhone 6 was grabbed by a suspect as she was texting on the platform of the 12th Street Station. The suspect fled towards the 14th Street exit and out the station. Loss was estimated at $500.00.
