Officers contacted an adult male for fare evasion and discovered that the suspect was wanted for a no-bail narcotics warrant. The suspect was arrested and during a search incident to the arrest, more narcotics were discovered. The suspect was arrested and booked for the warrant and additional narcotics charges.
A male patron was beaten on the platform by two men. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with facial cuts and a possible neck injury. The suspects fled the station on foot. Officers responded to a report of a male harassing passengers on a Pittsburg-bound train. The subject was placed under citizen's arrest by passengers who claimed he threatened them with bodily harm after they objected to the playing of a loud radio by the former's girlfriend. The subject was also determined to have an outstanding felony no-bail parole violation warrant for which he was arrested and booked.
A Sergeant on train patrol detained an adult male for fare evasion. The investigation revealed that the suspect was wanted on a felony warrant out of San Francisco. The suspect was arrested and booked.
The lead car of a Richmond bound train approaching the station came off of the tracks for an unknown reason. Two people on the train reported minor injuries and were transported for treatment. The station was closed for approximately 30 minutes while the scene was secured. The investigation by the safety department is on-going.
An adult male approached the station agent with a knife to his wrist. The male threatened to cut himself, but the agent managed to talk him out of harming himself or anyone else. Responding officers detained the subject, who had no physical injuries, and had him committed for psychiatric evaluation.
Two juveniles approached a passenger on a train with one of them grabbing a passenger's cell phone from his belt holder. As the passenger attempted to regain his property, the subject who took the phone pulled what appeared to be a taser, activated it, and warned the victim not to get near him. Both suspects fled but the accomplice was apprehended and booked on a no-bail probation violation warrant. The suspect with the cell phone and the taser managed to elude capture.
A male suspect grabbed a cell phone from the hand of a male victim while on board a Pittsburg bound train at the 12th Street Station. The suspect fled the train with the victim chasing him out of the station. The victim lost sight of the suspect in the surrounding neighborhood and did not report the crime until three hours later. The victim was not injured and no weapons were seen.
An adult male suspect detained for fare evasion was found to be in possession of individually packaged marijuana for sale. The suspect, who had prior convictions for similar violations, was booked at Glen Dyer Jail.
Male victim reported a female hit him on the head with her purse while on a Millbrae bound train. The suspect then threatened the victim with pepper spray before off boarding at 12th Street. A passenger lost $20 in a shell game, then had another $40 snatched from her possession while attempting to win back the first $20. The offense occurred on a Richmond train and the two suspects, both adult males, fled the train as it arrived at 12th St. Station. Responding officers were unable to locate them after searching the streets above the station.
A patron on a Richmond train reported that two males, 16-18 years of age, attempted to snatch her iPod. The victim was able to maintain possession of the iPod as the suspects off-boarded at 12th St. and fled.
While aboard a train approaching the 12th Street Station, an adult male suspect grabbed an iPhone from the hand of an adult female victim and ran off the train as the doors opened. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspect.
A patron on a Pittsburg bound train had a cell phone snatched from his possession as the train arrived at 12th St. Station. The two male suspects apparently fled the station after the offense. Responding units detained a possible suspect at 14th and Broadway but the victim eliminated him as one of the responsibles.
An adult male was detained for fare evasion at the 12th St. station by members of the Special Problems Unit. The subject was found to be on parole for assault with a deadly weapon. A parole search of the subject found him to be in possession of what is believed to be tar heroin. The subject was booked for this offense.
A parton aboard a Pittsburg bound train reported that a female suspect grabbed his iphone from him as the train stopped at the station. The suspect exited the train, ran out of the station and was not located by responding officers.
Officers responded to the station to investigate a report of an adult male who was disturbing the peace. On arrival the officers located an adult male who was bothering patrons and challenging other people, including the officers, to fight. The officers detained the suspect and discovered that he was wanted on several felony and misdemeanor warrants. The suspect was arrested and booked for the warrants.
A passenger on board a Pittsburg bound train had her iphone snatched from her possession as the train approached 12th St. Station. The suspect, described as a male in his 20's, fled the train and ran out of the 11th St. exit.
