A female victim called Pleasant Hill Police to report that her boyfriend had hit her. The Pleasant Hill officers contacted both parties and determined that the battery had occurred in the BART parking structure. The victim said that they were in an argument in their car when the male pushed the female's head down and her nose struck the gear shift. The victim had slight redness, but refused medical attention. She refused an emergency protective order, but was given the domestic violence resource information. The male was taken into custody by BART officers, issued a prohibition order and booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for domestic violence.
