Public Intoxication/Battery on an Officer

An officer was dispatched to intercept an SF bound train for a report of an intoxicated male with an open bottle of alcohol. The officer contacted the male and determined that he was too intoxicated to care for himself. During handcuffing, the male head butted the officer. The officer, who was not injured, cited the male for the open container violation and booked him into the Santa Rita Jail for public intoxication and battery on an officer.
