Public Intoxication/ Warrant Arrest

A BART Officer intercepted a Bay Point bound train at the Rockridge Station. He was investigating a report of a suspect creating a disturbance. Unidentified patrons pointed out the suspect. The officer determined that the suspect was intoxicated in public.  A Sgt approved the arrest and debriefed the suspect. On scene, the suspect refused to identify himself. A BART Officer transported the suspect to the Glenn Dyer Jail where it was discovered that the suspect had a California Department of Corrections no bail felony warrant for a parole violation.
