Sept. 2, 2017, 9:32 p.m.

West Oakland
Case: 1709-0113

Multiple people called into BART PD dispatch to report a make subject who had threatened another male with a knife while aboard Pittsburg/Bay Point bound train. Officers working a special detail were on scene when the train arrived at the West Oakland Station. As officers went to contact the suspect, later identified as Jayeddy DAVIS (23 years old, Burlingame, CA), he took off running away and ran into the city streets nearby. Officers were eventually able to detain DAVIS and recover a knife he attempted to discard. It was later determined DAVIS has pushed the knife into the stomach of a victim who did not sustain any injury while aboard the train. Davis was found to be on active probation. DAVIS was booked into Glenn Dyer jail in Oakland and was issued a prohibition order.
