Case: 1110-1443

An adult male was transported for a psychiatric evaluation after he was seen leaving his bags on the platform at the station and boarding a train.  The male had approached an off duty officer and was talking about religion before he left his bags on the platform and left the area on a south bound train.  The officer recontacted the individual at the San Bruno Station and waited for on duty personnel to arrive.  The bags were retrieved by the station agent and found to contain nothing suspicious.  Officers determined that the male was unable to care for himself and placed him on a psychiatric hold.  Trains on the line were checked for any other materials he may have left and some of his papers and ID were recovered on one of those trains.  The train searches resulted in a 5-7 minute delay.  TSOC was notified.
