Public Intoxication

Officers responded to a report of a male subject who was yelling at two female patrons on board a train. The officers arrived, located the subject, and determined he was intoxicated. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Rita Jail for public intoxication. The suspect started to resist when the officers attempted to take him to the patrol vehicle so physical force was used. A sergeant responded to approve the arrest and conducted a use of force investigation. There was no one who wished to pursue a complaint against the suspect.
