April 20, 2015, 5:54 p.m.

12th St. Oakland City Center
Case: 1504-3818

Officers detained an adult male who told the station agent he wished to commit suicide. Officers soon determined the subject was in need of a psychiatric evaluation, so an ambulance was requested. While waiting for the ambulance officers learned there was an outstanding $30K narcotics warrant, held by BART Police, for the subject’s arrest. The subject was then transported to the county’s psychiatric pavilion, along with a police hold. Upon being cleared from the pavilion, the subject will be booked into the county jail for the outstanding warrant.
