Battery on a Transit Employee

The station agent called to report that a patron was threatening him.  The suspect had fare evaded into the station when the agent called for him to return to the booth.  The suspect became irate and threatened the agent with physical harm.  The suspect then chest bumped the agent and got into his face while yelling at him.  While the suspect was yelling, some spit struck the agent in the face.  The suspect then fled and boarded a Fremont bound train.  Officers intercepted the train at the Civic Center Station, but were unable to locate the suspect.  The suspect was described as a black male in his 20s, 6'2", heavyset, wearing a checkered shirt and blue jeans.  The agent was not injured during the incident.  A request to retrieve video was made.
