Officers responded to the station on the report by a neighborhood security guard of an in-progress auto burglary in the north lot. Officers were unable to locate the suspect, but located the victim vehicle (a brown 2002 Lexus 300) which had sustained damage to its driver’s side rear (quarter) window. The vehicle’s interior also appeared ransacked. The investigating officer processed the vehicle for fingerprints, and at 2200 hours made contact with the victim. The victim reported parking the vehicle in the lot at 1615 hours; he also reported not having sustained any loss as a result of the burglary.
