Case: 1601-2684

A car cleaner employee reported that a female suspect was acting erratically on the platform, causing the employee to abandon their work and leave the area. The suspect went to the bathroom and locked herself inside. Responding officers met the woman when she exited the restroom and attempted to detain her for investigation. The woman refused to cooperate and became highly agitated. The woman pulled away from the officer's grasp and OC spray was used, but the woman fled to platform #2, where she was finally detained. Officers determined that the woman required psychological evaluation. She was treated at the scene for exposure to OC spray and was transported by ambulance to Mills Peninsula Hospital for psychiatric evaluation and treatment.
