Injured Patron

The train operator of a Fremont bound train reported that a subject was under the train. Within minutes, the first responding officer arrived on scene and located the victim under the train. The victim, a White male reportedly in his 70's, was conscious and breathing. The victim was able to crawl out from under the train. The victim did not have any obvious injuries, but complained of pain to his head. Medical personnel transported him to a local area hospital. The station was closed for 26 minutes as a result of the incident. It is unknown at this time if the victim intentionally jumped in front of the train, or fell from the platform. On-call Trauma Response Team members were notified.
