An officer was detailed to the station to perform a welfare check upon a male subject who was reportedly sitting along the curb line of an access road with his legs outstretched on to the roadway. On the officer’s arrival, he contacted the subject and determined he was unable to care for his own safety due to his level of (alcohol) intoxication and placed him under arrest for public intoxication.
