Assault with a Deadly Weapon

Kaiser Hospital staff called to report that a male in their hospital was being treated for a contusion to his head, which he said he received at the Richmond Station when a male suspect hit him with a bottle. An officer interviewed the victim, who said that his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend struck him in the head with a bottle (unprovoked). After being struck, the victim left the station and went to the hospital for treatment. He said that he did not lose consciousness. He believes the suspect boarded a train and left the area with the ex- girlfriend, who witnessed the attack. Station video will be requested. The victim was not able to provide any of the suspect's identifying information.
