Jan. 7, 2017, 6:38 p.m.

Case: 1701-0299

Employees reported that two males had entered the station without paying, and then urinated on the platform. Both males, who were in possession of open containers of alcohol, then crossed the tracks from platform #1 to platform #2. Third rail power was dropped and trains were held out until the males were clear of the tracks. Officers responded and detained both men. An employee identified the men and made a citizen's arrest. A search incident to arrest revealed that one man had illegal prescription medication and the other was in possession of brass knuckles. The male with the medication was cited for possession of prescription medication without a prescription, possession of an open container and trespassing on railroad property. The other suspect was booked at the San Mateo County jail for possession of illegal weapons, possession of an open container, and trespassing on railroad property.
