Case: 1306-2144

San Francisco Police received a report that a stabbing had just occurred at a restaurant near the 16th Street station. San Francisco Police chased a suspect into the station and confronted him on the platform. After pepper spray was unsuccessful in subduing the suspect, a bean bag round was fired and the suspect was taken into custody. Trains were delayed for approximately 15 minutes while officers attempted to locate the weapon and witnesses. No one was injured, although a San Francisco officer had his eyes washed out due to the blow back from the pepper spray being used. A BART police sergeant and several of our officers arrived at the scene to assist SFPD. Video recovery notified.
